Thanks! Would like to hear how his skating is...looked up Steelheads site and he scored 3 pts in 4 preseason games with them...8 sog too, 12 PIM. Showing up on the scoresheet a lot.

Moveare did not play in the intersquad game, which either means he is playing in one of the split squad exhibition games against the Yotes tomorrow or he is or was already one the first cuts to be announced, maybe as soon as tomorrow...I'll bet the later.

Matt Luff continuing his solid start, he now has 6g, 4a in 10 games and is a +7. He netted the game winner in 3 of those 6. Not bad so far.

Came to post the same.

Big playing time for him I hope as he continues to get used to NA. Can never be too ripe. Hope he can keep trending up!

Cale Clague FULLY GETS OFF in his first game of the season with the Brandon Wheat Kings. 1 goal. 2 assists. 3 points. plus 3. First Star of game.

Not horribad, first game off an injury from pre-season.
He has potential to make Kings next year...he's that talented.
Will be steal of the 2016 draft.

With LaDue and Gravel making team next year, will be no room for him though. That's ok. Just glad he's in the system.

Clague's second game back tonight: 3 assists; 1 even strength, 1 sh, 1 pp.
2 games, 1 goal, 5 assists, 6 points. Mad Sweet.

Good tracking!

With me having a hectic school schedule, my ability to watch hockey this season is reduced quite a bit, but I am following a lot of the prospects. Clague with 6 points in 2 games is a nice surprise. Wagner had a great game last night with 3 assists for Regina, too.

Austin Wagner seems to be improving greatly - could be a nice surprise. presume will be with the Reign next season. Allegedly the quickest player in the league and 6,3 and can drop the etc. Scored about 62 points in 70 games last season and about 12pts in 6 games this season. Not bad for a player who has no PPG at all. Has now got 15 SHG for Regina - 3 already this season in his 6 games. Could turn into a bottom six player and good for the PK.

Putting up decent numbers, and I don't think he's on Steel's line so they aren't being padded by playing with a dominating guy. The Pats are really good though.

Clague's 3rd game - 1st star again - 1 goal and 2 assists
9 points in 3 games - not a bad pace for a defence man ha ha.

Do Luff's numbers look like that because he's playing on the same line as Strome? I.e., is this gunna be another Danny Roussin scenario?

I don't think so.

Luff was an underrated signing if you ask me. The Kid has very good hands, and a nose for the net.

I think he's going to produce no matter who he's with. I think Petti's absence is hurting that line overall as they have great chemistry.

Apparently Luff hurt his shoulder, hopefully nothing serious.

Just checked in on Dergachev in the KHL. He's obviously on a friggin all star team of all time so it's a little disappointing to see he's only got three points. Their lowest scoring forward with only 3 assists, doesn't seem to be doing much at all, though at least he's hitting and getting 10 minutes of playing time this year (as opposed to sub-5 before). He's tied with Tikhonov but Tik appears to be being used as a defensive specialist (massive at FO) at least. Really hoping his development isn't stunted but I'm losing hope. It's nice for him to be around all those great offensive players at least.

It is , what it is.

The Kings knew what they were getting into by picking him.

He is a third round pick for a reason.

He is only 20, what will be important is coming over to the AHL, if he doesn't and resigns in KHL, it's over.

Good news is Cernak has turned it around after that disastrous start to the year.

Schmalz seems to be just a guy at this point. Was hoping to see improved numbers like Auger had shown, but he hasn't. Well, his +/- isn't -30 something yet. So I guess that's improvement...
