He was the 3rd q forward drafted correct? If anything he is slightly underachieving.

He had the knee injury earlier this year and it seemed to affect him for several weeks after his return. He'd be much higher otherwise.

Yep, and Ehlers and Barbashev are his competition... Barbashev was universally ranked as a top 20 pick but fell. He was actually ranked higher than Sanheim pretty much across the board. 13-18 was where a lot of people had him.

I've just got hockeystreams again recently so I've had the chance to see him regular for the first time in a while. I had to miss the final period of tonight's match, but Morin's coming on so much. He seems to make a lot less "emotional" decisions now, playing a more controlled game, but he still has that edge and nasty streak. Still the odd dumb decision, but hopefully that will be ironed out.

I know I'm preaching to the converted here, and that a lot of you have been seeing this throughout the year, but it's genuinely exciting to see him progressing as he is. He's just dominant at this level. Can't wait to see what he can do next year with the Phantoms.

Dominant is the right word. Last year it was improved and developing. This year it looks like he is in a league of his own out there.

Really made some plays in the OT too. Put a puck right on Boland's stick for the potential game winner but he just flat out missed it. Morin almost scored moments later. He's a real asset 4v4 in the defensive zone because he takes up so much space and his skill is more evident with the open space.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Ghost, Alt, Hagg and Morin together with the Phantoms. That's going to be fun to watch.

He does need a bit of seasoning so I'm sure he'll start in the AHL but he's really progressing. If he gets a chance in the last third of next season and performs well, who knows? He's definitely on the team come 16-17 though.

Got caught on a long shift. Must have played 35+ minutes tonight.

And for those who don't know....Morin had 2 assists today. Now has 22 points in 23 games.

NAK also scored today.....has 35 points in his last 20 games.

Sanheim with an assist

Everytime I see macd or striet get owned I think about morin being there and ending the play without much effort. Awesome that he is progressing so well. Especially after such a big hit to his gains with that injury

I am pumped about this young man. I really hope he makes the Flyers next season. He is what this club needs.

Can anyone give info on Parks?

Certainly him PPG is nice to see. Could he have a Read like career?

Doubtful they strike lightning in a bottle again. Read also outscored Parks in college by a fair margain.

Read - 147GP 65G 76A 143PTS 0.97PPG
Parks - 136GP 40G 47A 87PTS 0.64PPG
