6 pages in and no one bothered to add in Oilers. How the times have changed.

Holloway is pretty much the only one worth mentioning.

If I had to guess and assuming Broberg/Skinner and Desharnais aren't prospects:

Holloway
.
.
Petrov
Bourgault
Lavoie
Savoie
Tullio
Chiasson
Wanner

Pretty sure this is the reason why. I do like the next 4 on your list though.

I am going to change up the Wild list. Many Wild fans will disagree with me, and I am guessing on a few of the Euros.

1- Wallstedt
2- Faber( ok, I was wrong)
3- Marat(would like KHL watchers to chime in on him)
4- Peart(really like this guy)
5- Ohgren( seemed to come on at the end of the year)
6- Yurov(hard to tell...he simply didn't get any TOI in the KHL)
7- Rossi (lots to like, but he isn't strong, or fast)
8- Spacek
9- Bankier
10- Hunt

HM(sorry, but these guys all have a good chance to be NHL'ers)- Beckman, Lambos, ROR, maybe Masters, who came out of nowhere to score a ton this year.

These were two of my favorite under appreciated D prospects. I have a simple model and it suggested both had late 1st value.
Well done.

They have also killed it since then. Faber looked excellent as a late season addition being thrown into the playoffs(think Pesce), and I thought Peart looked great late in the college season - very composed, great skater, good with the puck, and solid defensively. Seemed to have grown a bit taller, also - he's got to be a legit 6'(as opposed to a "hockey 6'). Could use a few more lbs. but you could say that of just about any prospect.

Hvidston has jumped Perreault IMO. Other than that solid list

It’s remarkable that the Sabres graduated Power, Krebs, Quinn, Peterka and Luukkonnen this year (and traded Portillo) and still have this good a list:

1) Levi
2) Savoie
3) Kulich
4) Ostlund
5) Rosen
6) Johnson
7) Poltapov
8) Neuchev
9) Nadeau
10) Novikov

3. Bolduc
4. Neighbours

10. Tucker

Pretty big gap after the top-5 IMO. I could list another 5-6 that’d be in the same general tier as players 6-10.

Blues have 3 1sts next month. If they use all 3, I’d expect them to take up 3 of the top 4-5 spots.

I’m considering Perunovich and Toropchenko graduated. Neighbours and Alexandrov likely graduate in the early part of next season.

Not really, they have a competent GM, draft well and have had 8 picks inside the top35 over the last three years.

Like to see this ranking. Feel like Peart is under-appreciated because he hasn't put up monster numbers, but i love his 2-way game. Easy to project a pro-career for him imo. Actually reminds me a bit of Thrun in that he's not flashy but has some great pro-ready IQ and skills.

That may even be low on Ohgren and Yurov. Those guys are going to be impressive.

I know it seldom happens, but I think the Sabres and Wild need to look at trading some MN D prospects for BUF forward prospects. We are swimming in good two way D prospects, you guys are full of nice forward prospects.

Could be - depends on what Adams is willing to move. I think he's willing - they already shuffled a lesser prospect in Bloom for an NHL-level contract in Stillman so I think he's game for it.

My top 6 are pretty set but 7-14 or so are all pretty interchangeable. You can add in guys like Gaudreau, Makaniemi, Lund, Fisher, Okhotiuk, Cicek, Coe, Ozzy but I think those last 3 dropped like rocks this year. I purposely excluded Peterson because he played over a full season of games.
I might swing the top three around as Bystedt, Mukhamadullin, then Eklund, but in any event that is a nice top three to start off a rebuild with....

You’d be very hard pressed to find any Sharks fan that doesn’t have Eklund as the top prospect. Dude is arguably a top 10-15 prospect in the league. Once he settled into the AHL a bit and got consistent linemates, he was freaking stellar. He also was arguably the Sharks best player when he came up for a bit too. I think he’s a top candidate for the Calder next year.

He gets written off playing for a team that doesn’t get a ton of press and playing through a ton of injuries last year, but he really shouldn’t. Bystedt is good but there isn’t really a chance that he’s our top prospect.
