We lost to the worst team in the east. Our coach got out coached horribly in OT, our goalie coughed up the lead and lost it for us in OT and let a dman score his first goal of the season against him.

We also got ****ed by the refs who called back a goal that should have given us the win.

Trap game. Happens to all good teams. I watched he JEts play the Saints a few weeks ago. Jets hung around int that game and Saints were easily the better team Butcher played sloppy and had iffy play callin for a good part of the game. At least NJ can put this behind them quickly.

Schneider let in 4 f***ing goals against that shit team that has a team shooting percentage under 8% lol. What do you think happens tomorrow if he starts or Kinkaid starts when they are playing the Caps? We can't rely on the second line thanks to Zajac sucking and this stubborn staffs refusal to ever adapt and fix things outside of rookies and second year players.

Imagine how man games Zacha would sit if he played the way Zajac has been playing since he came back 21 games ago?

I feel like because our flat out oblivious commentating crew says Schneider made a great save on a routine play, that some fans think he is an athletic goalie and that when he gets beat, he can't do anything about it because it was either a perfect shot, or a defensive breakdown.

That PP tying goal was both a defensive breakdown, and bad goaltending. He is the most nonathletic top 10 goalie in the league. Every other one is capable of making cross crease saves by pushing across the crease with their legs. Schneider just twists around and looks like his left leg is stuck in super glue and he's unable to move his leg to push him across, so he stretches out with his upper body to go for a paddle save he has no chance on.

They showed him on the TV screen....3 TIMES!!!! 3 TIMES!!!!

It's almost like MSG *wanted* to jinx the Devils.
It's almost like they tied it not too long after that.

He's got a curse on us for passing on him as an assistant haha.

In the end we are fine. It was only one point. We are in first. We have games in hand. We are overall playing well.

Outside of a few minor usage issues I wouldn’t change anything. The D pairs right now are perfect.

Zacha and Zajac should most likely switch spots soon, but that won’t make too much of a difference until Palms finds his groove. He clearly isn’t playing well and is rusty from all the time he missed.

Coleman was awful tonight but he should bounce back fine. Top line is all kinds of fire.

Oh forget about it, Zacha would be in Kalamazoo or whatever ECHL team we use.

The Offsides and Goalie Interference should not be reviewable. Video review should be left to controversial goals( High stick, puck wasn't covered but blown dead, did the goalie slide into the net...). I honestly feel it is being miss used and lacks consistency. If a goal was good yesterday, it should be good today and there are too much interpretation. If a review takes more than 20s the call on Ice should stand. After that the bs meter goes way up.

The NHL is the most reactionary league in professional sports.

If you bled it was 5, if your toe was in the crease it was no goal, fighting bad... sometimes, goalies can't handle the puck, goalies are fair game, goalies can't be touched, 4 on 4 outlawed, 4 on 4 encouraged...3 on 3 is a good idea...the decision makers in this league are freaking nuts.
It's "no one watches us" syndrome.

"Just one more little tinker and we got 'em!"

ah yes, the 4 on 4 …..gretzky rule…..so many years ago.

and here we are in 2018 …..with game stoppages to determine an offside maybe a minute or more before a goal is scored

asinine

Tomorrow can't come soon enough. The high skilled aggressive team going against a defensively sound one with legitimate weapons. Didn't go well the first time around but lots has changed since then. The cute drop passes are a no-no against the Caps. They'll kill you

The Arizona game was way worse. We deserved to lose that game. We played like trash.

We should have won this game, we were winning it and it was taken from us by the refs.
I think the Panthers game (both of them) was worse than this one also. Especially that one where we lost and didn't show up until the 3rd period. The first Edmonton game was also embarrassing.

We played a lot better tonight than we did in those games.
