JESPER BRATWURST
Ottawa pulls it out against the Jackets in regulation. HUGE WIN....for us in the out of town scoreboard.
then you didn’t see the angle but the isn’t a conspiracy to give wins to buffalo because of the winter classic
I hate to beat a dead horse in this thread, but Zajac is done. This is the worst play I’ve ever seen from him. He can’t possess the puck let alone create any offense and his skating is shot.
It isn't one already? Can you imagine if that **** happens in a game 7 OT finals games? The league will be a laughing stock.
i think thats in the rule book........ i guess they threw it out the window tonight. such bs. lehner should complain.

just like their playoff chances
They'll eliminate the off-sides rule within the next two seasons...book it. As soon as it cost a league darling an important game it'll be gone.
To me it's like the goalie stats I was telling you about earlier. it's just more evidence to corroborate that he sucks outside of ''Well he just looks bad''.He's done very little since coming back. Looks slow and out of place.. don't need stats or whatever corsi is to tell.me.he sucks
Watching Zajac is giving me flashbacks of post-2009 Sean Horcoff, the guy went from being a 50-60 point two-way center to an overpaid anchor literally overnight (well, one off-season).
Like Zajac, he hung around for years afterwards purely because of his defensive/faceoff abilities and his albatross contract, but basically lost all ability to skate, shoot, pass or control the puck.
I hope i’m wrong and Travis can find a way to bounce back, but I wouldn’t be shocked if 20-30 points a season becomes his new norm.
I’d trade him ASAP if someone would take him.
Too bad Hynes doesn't agree...since he didn't put our best players out there in OT.3 on 3 is certainly hockey, and it's awesome to watch. It's so much hockey that it's actually the best players that excels in it.
I usually don't say something like this, but I seriously almost think that Lehner's complaining after last game, led to the officials throwing him a bone tonight.Team’s fine and our place in the standings is fine.
I just don’t like be jobbed out of a win.

say what you want about the challenge and review but the goal was offsides, not that it affected his breakaway or how he scored. but the view from the opposite side that they showed one good look have showed he lifted his skate of the blueline like .001 seconds before the puck crossed. sucks but it’s not why we lost

Off-side
- Players of the attacking team must not precede the puck into the attacking zone.
The position of the player’s skates and not that of his stick shall be the determining factor in all instances in deciding an off-side. A player is off-side when both skates are completely over the leading edge of the blue line involved in the play.
A player is on-side when either of his skates are in contact with, or on his own side of the line, at the instant the puck completely crosses the leading edge of the blue line regardless of the position of his stick. However, a player actually controlling the puck who shall cross the line ahead of the puck shall not be considered “off-side,” provided he had possession and control of the puck prior to his skates crossing the blue line.
It should be noted that while the position of the player’s skates is what determines whether a player is “off-side,” nevertheless the question of an “off-side” never arises until the puck has completely crossed the leading edge of the blue line at which time the decision is to be made.
