So, let me get this straight:

You also think that the goal was overturned (Against the second worst team in the league) because Gary Bettman wants to create drama for a show that no one watches that's about a game that will be less watched than the Jiffy Lube Coffee Bowl or whatever college football game is on that day?

You SERIOUSLY think that?

Who cares if no one watches.

This is more for the SPONSORS to make money anyway.

There was a 2-1 chance in the 1st period that Zajac tried to sauce the puck to MoJo but ended up throwing the puck on MoJo's skates and almost got a friendly bounce and scored lol. Dude's got no hands and now he's skating even slower than usual.

I defended Zajac a lot when he first came back because he was hurt for a long time, missed offseason training, and missed training camp. The buffer for him to turn it around has long since past though, and he's been ****ing putrid. If it were just his offensive play that were bad, we could swallow it, but he's been mediocre to bad defensively a lot of nights as well. He needs to sit for a few games at this point.

I have too. I thought he looked ok when out there with Gibbons and Coleman. But otherwise he looks completely lost out there. I think he's earned a game as a spectator.

I don't think that will happen until after the break. If he still looks lost out there, then he needs to sit for a game or two. If he continues to look bad, maybe it's time to shop him around.

He hasn’t been a beast st anything since his return from injury.

Remember they tried to put him on the top line and he got demoted for Bratt.
And I never wanted that line broken up in the first place.

I think Palmieri's been fine, but Zajac is a plague on both of them. They're not playing that badly, but Zajac is really playing poorly and anybody that plays with him right now is going to look bad.

So it's put his deadweight on their back or put it on somebody like Wood's back or Coleman or the other bottom sixers.

I need to see definitive proof for overturning that goal. Nearside blue line cam was really close but the puck was blocked from view by Halls skate, still don't know how the hell they determined it wasn't in the zone before his skate came off the ice from that view from the other side.

It shouldn’t even matter. He tipped it too himself. He has possession.

say what you want about the challenge and review but the goal was offsides, not that it affected his breakaway or how he scored. but the view from the opposite side that they showed one good look have showed he lifted his skate of the blueline like .001 seconds before the puck crossed. sucks but it’s not why we lost

We’ve been getting screwed left and right all year by the refs and people want to blame tonight on Winter Classic TV? What program did Nico getting called for three straight crap penalties enhance?

On the bright side, Jackets on the verge of losing to the Sens. Any point is important in the metro. If only Detroit could beat the Rags...

And this was one of the worst coached OT's (and 3rd period's) we've seen from Hynes in quite a while.

The constant rotation of Greene and Santini, needing Zajac out there late in the 3rd and in OT.

He may as well call down Ben Lovejoy from the press box and play him in OT next. He did it enough last year.

He's gotta be seeing the same things we are. As much as I don't like the guy, I don't think he's stupid.

No it wasn’t. There was not any conclusive evidence at all.

Don't think for a second Shero will stand pat with guys like Zajac and Greene if they keep regressing. He's proactive.

Zajac had multiples instances where he just couldn't make a play in the second he had the puck. He is playing with zero confidence and just can't keep up with the pace of play.

Tomorrow night is BIG. They left Eichel open on a few occasions and will be burned if they do that with OV tomorrow.

Oh, and **** you officials. Gotta have the Sabres look good heading into the Winter Classic. What a ****ing joke. That never crossed my mind until I saw others post it

Those are two expensive buyouts and no one is going to trade for them. Ideal realistic scenario is they are replacements for Hayes and Lovejoy spots next year and NJ has a real 1LD and a real 2C

Because it doesn’t exist.
Exactly. There is no conclusive shot of this being offside. They overturned a good goal on the ice call by determining that Hall's skate was off the ice by the thickness of a sheet of paper when they think the puck cross the line. No f***ing chance that should have been overturned with the shot they were looking at.
