I am sure I have had quite a few bad takes on this site, one of my most recent ones was Caufield vs Hughes. I kept going on and on about goal scoring vs point totals and w/e.....

I still believe that Caufield is a goal scoring beast but Hughes is for sure a different level monster.....

I guess I'll eventually be proven right because he's bound to regress at some point.

That’s a good one. Still not sure why when every international tournament Jack out produced him. I’ve always had Jack being better

I had Tkachuk as the clear #3 love his game but I thought Zadina was easily #4 and an awesome prospect and was so excited that we were able to pick him.
Was hoping for Hughes, figured KH was going to take Bouchard going into the draft which I was fine with, and after we got Zadina I was like Whoghes? and Boochard.

I thought at one point, while I was still living in Toronto, that the Leafs’ core would for sure win the Cup (if not multiple in the near future). Been five years since that now and I’m starting to think it’s not happening at all with the current core.

There was a worse take about not trading OEL+ for the rights to draft Austin Matthews (unfortunately a take then GM Don Maloney agreed with).

I didn't think Adam Fox would be anything back when he was on the US junior team. I was way more impressed with Jack Achan in the 2017 WJC, and he's never held down a job in the NHL.

In my defense, I didn't think his fine but not great skating fit his profile well, and he's not that impressive in limited viewings.

You really have to let him cook and see the statistical output, and how he's always on the ice when good things happen.
