They are getting outplayed quite a bit IMO

They were getting outplayed badly from like, mid-first on last night and still took it to OT. Pesky, resilient team. Seems like they don't have a lot of top-end scoring threats on this squad but they play smart.

I agree. Impressive given the players they are missing.

Team u.s.a white is pretty good but not mind blowing.

Why aren't we beating these guys? We should be able to grease out a close win against this bunch IMO.

This is the full USA team minus Q Hughes and Tkachuk

Pretty close to it, we should be able to beat these guys even with a split squad based on what I am seeing today.

I am counting on a different result next game, but who knows?..............maybe team U.S.A hits another gear when they see a Maple Leaf on the opposing teams uniform, they tend to do that.

I'll have to agree with Mr Writer on this issue...........................that rivalry ramps up play.

Very nice to hear. It hasn't been the best time for me so I don't feel like watching hockey at the moment, but still nice to hear reports and see team Finland win some games. :)

Or at least compete at the high level, if they don't win.
Well I tried but uncle sam managed to squeak this one out.

Still, not a bad showing from your boys, they competed well.

good game... Luukkonen best finn for me. Anttalainen and Laaksonen were good too. from forwards Talvitie is good by default

Anyone else really impressed with Vegas 4th rounder Paul Cotter? His puck control outside of his shoulder width (something that normally doesn't come along [period] until way later) is pretty crazy. That's a lot of skill and it looks like a pretty sturdy frame too...player to watch for that I wasn't familiar with prior...

yes. he has been very impressive. versatile as well, clawing his way onto this team. he was a riser in June for the draft, and the way it is looking, Vegas likely got a player 2 rounds later than he should have went from his recent showings.

Hoping Bouchard has a big game. I like this D group a lot more than yesterday's D.
