My mistake....he did fan on a pass at the start of the game......my glasses are not homers....it is just sad that people like your self can not see just how good he has been.

But he has not been that good today, just average. A nice rush and a couple turnovers.

The last couple games he's been amazing though. Best or 2nd best dman for Canada IMO. And that's with **** minutes because of dumb ass coaching.

There is a difference between watching it on the TV and watching it in person Interactif.

Everyone watching the game today on TSN, which is about 100% I dare say here on the entire board can't comment?

I doubt many here have seen Gretzky play live also, there's a difference in seeing him live and on TV.

Pat Kane was one of the greatest London Knights to don the sweater. That's saying something for a franchise as rich as they are.

Kane's draft year:
2006–07

London Knights

OHL: GP 58 G 62 A 83 PTS 145 P/M +42
Playoffs: GP 10 G 10 A 21 PTS 31 P/M +2

Drouin won't touch 145 pts.

Kane was a DOMINANT force in his draft year.

And Yes, he was the outright #1, By a MILE.

Kane may not have been the surefire #1, but he was in that discussion, and was picked there. Drouin will not be.

The Kostitsyn Gagner Kane line was insane

One man army could be said really.

Really? Btw what happened to the Finns? Thought they were a shoe in for the medal round and Barkov?

Bit OT, but nobody denied that Joel Edmundson was MJ's shutdown man. You hinted at Rielly being the worst defender on MJ, which was absolutely ridiculous.

I did not say he was MJ's worst defender. That is a lie.

I said that he was not Moose Jaw's strongest defensive pairing as the evidence has shown.

For the players who get big minutes teams wanted to play their star offensive players against Rielly and Brown rather than Edmonson and McFaull.

Don't comment on the game, because you didn't see the game live. Ok...

Atleast I comment on games I see, and not box scores.

Relax. It's fine to be impressed with his performance. It's the long term projections that I commented on. Sample size is important and live, in person viewings can tell a ton about a guy that you don't pick up on television.

I'm a Halifax ST holder. After watching him live 50 or so times I'm glad people are finally catching on to how good he is.

I am talking about prospects live, instead of WJC games watching games such as QMJHL live in person to see prospects like Drouin and Mackinnon.

He has been better than average again today, he has also been playing with Murphy for the most part....and he is then left with more responsibility defensively and he has been good. Another point....with the limited minutes that he is getting it's hard to come in and play well and he has done so every game.

Yeah, really.

Remember Teuvo Teravainen? Just like Drouin. More skilled than possibly anyone in the draft, but size made sure he didn't go 1st because there were more sure-fire prospects.

We're not talking about Finland, are we?
We're talking about your outrageous claim that Drouin is better than Pat Kane, Which couldn't be further from the truth.

I'm a Canadian, remember. I want CANADA to win this tournament. Not sure why you're on me like I'm the President of Finland.... lol.

Give Sauli Niinisto or Jyrki Katainen a call, I'm sure they'd be ashamed of themselves.:sarcasm:

I am drinking a cup of joe in front of the tube, I am as relaxed as can be, I have Drouin behind Mackinnon and Jones, but off what he is doing against the best of his peers and the way he has played against the US and Russia he is certainly #2 possibility to Jones.

This tells me all I need to know about your opinion. I admire your passion though.

Lol.... So I guess only the people who made the treck to Ufa can comment on any of these players? Cause rnh looks pretty good, I'd say one of the best but I'm watching him on tv so what do I know?

As for rielly he looks average today, last couple games he looked real good but today he is having an off game.

Jenner has been a defensive stalwart this game, good on him. His cycle game is fantastic, glad he is proving some posters wrong on his worth to Canada.

I don't see a kid as dominant as Kane was at the same age, no. And I don't know how anyone can say they do. I saw Kane live more than most that don't live in London, as a Spits season ticket holder that year.

You can't spin it. There's no way Drouin produces points like that, not even with the "best prospect since Crosby" on his line. Kane was a machine.
