But for example Perlini with top six role has 0 points. 13th forward Chartier has 2 points in 3 games (I count his last two games only one game)
Isn't one of canadas top pk'ers chartier?
If so it does not help that the coach isn't using him in any other situation to keep him up to game speed.
Canada's PK might be that bad because Chartier isn't getting any icetime on 2nd. Well to be honest I think that is because Lowry's system and Canada's Dman isn't as good as they should be.
It is interesting to see if Chartier takes Perlini's spot on the lineup. I don't think that will happen but it really SHOULD happen.

Chartier didn't play any PK on second. He didn't play at all... But what I've seen him earlier games and on 1st on the Pk he's been good
And Perlini on the ice when 3rd period starts

Canada's coming unravelled. A little odd that the refs are going to call that stuff from the scrum, but it is what it is. Canadians can't afford to even come close to testing the refs.

After that, I'm even more confused as to why Jeremy Roy was left off the roster beyond him being injured earlier in the season. This was bar none the least impressive Canada's blueline has looked at this tournament in the years I've watched the WJC. None of them made an impact offensively.

I am also happy those rumors about the Sharks wanting to hire Dave Lowry as their coach did not come to fruition. He's as much to blame for this loss as anyone. Severely underutilized some of the best players on the team like Barzal, Konecny and Chartier while overplaying the hell out of a useless Virtanen and Perlini.
This! I remember that too. And I can't believe that I was thinking that Lowry might be good coach for us.
And maybe some folks here might not bee happy with DeBoe but it could be much worse. In my opinion DeBoer has been okay.
Btw offtopic but another great thing happened. John Scott will be Pacific division's captain at the allstar game!
