Detail but saying the Allsvenskan is the "swedish AHL" is wrong. It's more like if you split the NHL in half. For example, if the ducks or coyotes were relegated to the AHL, theyd shred the league.

Niederbach being on a top team that has a chance to be in the SHL isn't too bad.

Yeah Allsvenskan is pretty comparable to Liiga imo. If we had a finnish prospect in Liiga in his d+3 no one would find it that concerning.

You kind of have to split Liiga in Half.

Top5 teams are SHL level teams and Bottom10 are Allsvenskan level.

So Liiga is kind of in the middle, between SHL and Allsvenskan.

Many guys who struggle and can't fit to SHL team, have been great players for Liiga level, but are "too good" for Allsvenskan.

It has been fun to see that player movement more at this season, and those moves will build a clearer picture.

I think Liiga is better, personally. It's not quite as good as the SHL, but it's the 3rd/4th best Euro league in my opinion (Depends on who is signed to the NL that year).

He had the knee problem before he was drafted. The hope was that he could overcome it enough that his IQ and skill would make the difference. It hasnt.

Very nice. And Eemil Vero quietly has 3 assists in 4 games. I honestly think he’s still a good prospect.

Kirill Tyutyayev has 7 goals and 34 assists, 41 points in 27 games in Toledo. Maybe he should be in Grand Rapids? Dump some of the veteran/non prospects from the Griffins. Make room for Kirill.

he did play 20 games with the Griffins this year and only had 5 points

My guess is GR is overcrowded with prospects and some extra from NHL, someone has to go down

Kirill needs to add about 20 pounds. He is skilled, but just gets absolutely dummied by bigger opponents and that has been very obvious the last 2 tournaments in traverse city.

I mean AHL in general. There are better cameras in USHL arenas, CHL arenas, SHL/Allsvenskan arenas, DEL arenas, NL arenas, KHL arenas, Liiga arenas...

The AHL just sucks at business. They need to get some new f***ing cameras and real play by play announcers so I don't have to listen to the radio broadcast while watching Iphone 4 level camera footage on AHL TV. It's a joke for the cost.

Nice goal, but gotta give some credit to the dude who screened the goalie. He never even saw Buchelnikov skate in, Buch basically just deposited that puck into an open net.
