Sarnia has a game in hand so another loss by them will be required for us to clinch the division.
For the division, yes. But we have a 6 game Regulation / Overtime Win Advantage on them and London.

London has 5 games left, Sarnia has 6.

Still a ways from the division, but if we tie in points with Sarnia, we hold the tiebreaker if we get one more win. Typically not a big deal, but since we lost the season series with them, it could make a difference

I feel obligated to give credit where it’s due in the case of Aidan Castle.
His first 24 games, he had 7 points and a -2.
In his last 4 games, he’s stepped up and logged 5 points and a +4.

With all the hype around the big guns, Maillet has kind of quietly now reached 50 assists on the season and Christopoulos is 5 Goals away from 50 with 5 games remaining.

Does anyone know who else was injured last night, Savard said he lost two more guys. I know they leave today for the SOO, hopefully Dionicio is with the team. Need four points out of this trip to the SOO.

At this point, Windsor's focus needs to be getting at least three points up north. The Hounds won't make life easy at all but Savard's found success in that rink. Take care of your own business and it'll unfold as it may.

Why Dionicio? If the flu as was contemplated it should keep him out that long.

I’m thinking Greentree and perhaps Peer.

Should be 4 points. Even with this defense...

Colton Smith hurt last night as well, did not finish the game. Unsure if he is 1 of the players Marc is referring to?
Yep it was him. Assuming no one is back from injury, they could only have 7 forwards for tomorrow, plus a Jr. B player. Will need one or two d-man playing on forward just to get to 9 forwards. The SOO are bad these days, but it won't be an easy two games.

At least both games are there, no travel in-between games.

Yeah, Savard mentioned being down to 7 forwards in the postgame.

Losing Peer and Smith would take the 10 they started with yesterday, down to 7, if Savard wasn’t counting McManus, which may make sense as he’s not a “normal” guy.

Harrison/Maillet/Maggio
Christopolous/Wright/Castle
Jodoin/Morneau/Dionicio
McManus?/?/?

DeAngelis/Christoforo
Holmes/Renwick
Woodall?/Sobolev

Costanzo

Doubt they bring mcmanus up to play one game. He played lastnight and again tonight. And with lasalle playing tonight and again sat and sun i’m not sure they would bring up guys from there unless only going to play them for 1 game so they can play on sunday.

I keep forgetting about the GOJHL playoffs and everyone involved. They’re very inconvenient! Lol.
No McManus means no Woodall either. (Or Davis, or Birkett, or Graniero, or Martin)

McLlwan is still involved with Stratford Warriors in those same playoffs (different series) as well.

Uhh what’s Thomas Johnston up to? Lol

Unless someone’s back could be 7F, 6D for both games? Dressing 13 sounds absurd. I imagine at minimum dionicios back giving us 7D. I would also guess that Greentree/Spellacy/Abraham remain out. I guess the question is how serious were the Smith & Peer injuries along with how ill was Dionicio.

Maybe we can toss Joey Costanzo in some shin pads and throw him out there on defense. He’d probably get more minutes that way ;)

"The Windsor Spitfires have signed free agent Will Wowler to a one-weekend contract."

He forgot to add the smiley face, LOL

Well the scuttle butt saying less injured then previously thought. Hears hoping they can get to at least 9 forwards.
I fully know the struggles of the situation. My hockey team also struggles to get 9 guys to show up. The difference is we're the 4th seed in a 6 team league and we play at 11:10pm on Monday Nights. While the Spitfires are the first place team in the OHL's Western Conference lol

Savard has been notoriously vague when talking about injuries. So id say wait and see who is on the bench to start the game lol. Even then u never know!! Huge points this weekend!! Lets go boys!!
