The question is always were the penalties deserved, not the number of penalties. Fairness does not equate to equal number.
There were an equal number of fouls that occurred but there were not called that way.
That being said 80% efficiency on the kill 8/10 and 1 of the goals the last one was with a 2 man advantage, showed they can play D when needed.

What they never seem to say is there were missed calls both ways. I find on here they like to always bitch about the refs. They only see it as windsor being screwed and everyone out to get Windsor. I’d like to see them all go down and try to ref games and see how many calls they miss. A lot easier seeing things on tv or in the stands were it is a lot easier to see the whole ice.

I'm sure Guelph could argue about a couple no calls too.
Even when Windsor wins, refs must be a excuse somehow...
Check my posting history, have NEVER once complained about refs. First time and only commented on others posts today.

Seems less missed for one team than the other last night.

I’m not going to complain about the missed calls, I’m just going to complain about the calls last night.

With 16 Penalties, over half the game is special teams (Yeah PP goals, overlaps, etc).

It’s ridiculous. Yes there was justifiable calls, but let the boys play. Otherwise it becomes one of those games, where if every little thing is called, a minor inconvenience that gets missed raises one of the benches.

As the playoffs get closer, the whistles should stay down more, not the other way around

Kinda hilarious when Windsor is currently the least penalized team in the OHL!!

It's only a very few posters that mention it in nearly every loss, half the Ws and never ever when it benefits their team. It's excuse making at that point, IMO.
Sure it happens, but every game more mistakes are made by players and coaches then the refs.
For some it's easier or more convenient to look outside the team for "factors" than internally.
Take care of what you can control and things work out more often than not.
Every team on the O has been on the short side of a call or calls in a game, this year, last year and the same will be true next year. When a poster only sees it one way it says alot about them. Most posters don't use it as a crutch.

Doesn’t mean they aren’t going to have a bad game penalty wise does it? I’m convinced Guelph plays a certain way that draws penalties. The have been on the PP like 14 times more then 2nd and 30 more then 3rd place teams.

You can say that about every game. Rarely do they ever get it right. The refs aren’t against Windsor. It seems like 1 time a week people are complaining about refs here. The win the refs suck. They lose the refs suck. Geesh some complain about sarnia game and windsor had 2 or 3 more pp chances then sarnia. We all need to just agree the ref are consistently missing calls and it will always happen. Complaining about it its a reason the team wins or loses.

If the fans are always complaining about officiating, win or lose, maybe it's not the fans that are the issue?!

On a related tangent...

Having 10 PKs was Windsor's most all season. Their previous high was eight in Flint back in Oct.

Windsor's PK is 16 for it's last 21, dating back to the London game on Mar. 2. I can go back further if people really want it.

Their PP in that same time is 3/18.

The number of games where one team had 2+ more PP chances than the opposition... 27. Out of those, Windsor had 2+ more chances on 15 occasions.

The refs are not against Windsor, that, I agree with, the reffing is just bad in many games. Many times it has a big effect on the game, as example, Dionicio's absurd blindsiding major which gave London a 5 min PP and Windsor who was already played with a decimated lineup had to play the last two periods of that game without Dionicio.

Or last night, Sudbury got completely robbed against London. Twice, Sudbury scored with Brochu intentionally knocking the net off, leading to the goals being disallowed. On the 2nd one, Brochu actually got a penalty for knocking the net off, but considering he knocked it off a split second before the puck went it, Sudbury's goal should have counted. Just another example of reffing changing the outcome of a game.

Why is it so many london fans come here to tell spits fans how it is and how it should be? Maybe a bunch of spits guys go on your page? Is it jealousy? Or are you guys just smarter than those on this forum?
Really want to know, it just seems to ad to the drama.

I am not smarter than all on here.
Nor am I saying how it should be.
Your welcome to stop by the London forum anytime.
Not jealous at all. (it's just a game)
Hopefully that answers your ?s. I'm going out on a limb and thinking you are directing it at least in part to me.
I find many posters on here provide quality posts.
A select few do not, and when they lie in PMs and on here, name call, jump into PMs and insult, whine, I could go on n on.....I see nothing wrong with replying to their unfounded, selective, bias posts esp when they have gone on for years flip flopping measuring sticks, moving goalposts, insulting all those who dare not kiss managements butt, call out posters for not paying to go to games while they get freebies.....Not a fan is all.
It's a public forum. Stay within the rules and all is good.
There are options if it bothers you, without trying to dictate who is allowed to post where on a public forum. Ignore feature is simple to use.
Keep posting, you are one of the few left ( where is CFaub?) who offer good insight.

I believe CFaub was shown the door?

To that blindsiding major. My understanding was the tablets failed when they went to look at it. If that’s the case then there isn’t much the refs can do. From where i was it looked bad. I can see the refs calling it a major and if they were wrong changing call. If tablets were an issue then that’s not on the refs.

From what I recall, it was something about the wifi/tablets being down and they had to stick with what they originally called. That's why it took so long.

And the league upon review decided no suspension was in order, and Dionicio because of a history was in peril of getting suspended, it was the wrong call, costly to boot with the team's best Dman tossed for half the game, nice break for the opposition.

I get it. Just frustrating reading thru nonsense. I can believe cfaub might have gotten disenfranchised. Hell i was on the wrong end twice for getting frustrated. Its really to bad. Lots of knowledge and insight from a number of posters that are more than fans here.
