You are absolutely correct. We have a coach that has not won a single playoff series as a OHL head coach. A great coach adapts to his roster and rides their strengths. Not making a team conform to a game plan that has not produced success to date. A winning coach can get players to buy into the program but when your history is met with failure, well you become the joke in the room. St Louis went from worst to first with a coaching change only. That's how important a versatile coach can make all the difference. Nothing personal with TL just WR has been taking the cuts in the face for the disappointment of sucess. The slew of talent that's left the program is all on TL. WR wouldn't have brought them in if he didn't believe in their potential. Not every player works out as hoped, but 3 Mem cups and a pile of NHL players developed in the Spits the past 10 yrs takes the onus off of WR . like it or not. He gets a hall pass based on prior achievements. TL has a long way to go to earn one.I dont see his ways changing.
So frustrating as a fan.
