I completely agree with this! after all he is already 20 years old so he has clearly reached his ceiling and will never ever develop any further! (yeah right, get real. sidneycrobys and austonmatthewses dont happen all that often )

Lafreniere is teetering on bust territory. NYR should dump him while they can get something. This is Nail Yakupov 2.0. Rangers rushed him like the oilers with a bunch of 1st round hasbeens. Nolan Patrick is another comparison.

Idk how many times it needs to be said but NYR are not trading Lafreniere or Kakko. They get brought up by teams that want them which makes everyone think their available. Same thing as telling your friend group one of your buddies is cheating on his girl only because you want to get with that girl

They'll never get the value they want for him because no one will pay for a guy that's shown nothing at the NHL level. So, it'll never happen, but I'm sure the Rags would love to deal him for an upgrade. Lafrenière for Kotkaniemi ? About the same value and the same production.

Lafreniere is fine. He just needs the Rangers to use him a little better.

Mostly true.
He has not yet been all that and a bag of chips b'c he has ONE chink in his armour, his skating. Howev, that has been identified, improved over the past half season +, and he projects to be killing it middle of next season if he keeps working on his skating/technique.
So no reason to give away cheap

Lafreniere looks like Yakupov 2.0 and Georgiev isn't any better than Mrazek.

If Nylander is traded, it should be for a dman like Chychrun.

1 NHL PP point. Dude leads NYR in even strength goals scored since he became a Ranger. Again I love how everyone wants him but the second NYR say no everyone starts shitting on him.

Everyone doesn't want him. As a Leaf fan I don't want him, not at the cost of Nylander. He would be a 3rd liner at best for us, unless he finds his stride, but it's not worth the risk right now.

Also the fact he leads the NYR in even strength goals (24) over the last 116 games is nothing to be proud of.
