I so badly want a GM who has negotiate big contracts before and won't give into the contract demands of the big 4. I don't know who that is. Treliving gave out what is probably the worst contract in the league 9 months ago.

Eric Tulsky or a Pridham promotion would be a best case scenario. Or nabbing one of the AGMs from the Avs, Bolts, canes or Seattle would also be good

Hextall, Bergevin, Treliving, Bowman, Chia would be an absolute disaster

Bowman has actually won, How is that a disaster?

Shanahan emphasized an experienced GM would be attractive multiple times.

As someone who wants Tulsky or Pridham, pretty depressing!

I think it'll be Treliving

I'm hoping for Bowman.

I don't see why anybody would want a rookie right now especially with Matthews needing an extension.

This isn't the time to f*** around and hand the job to a rookie

Bowman is my #1 choice. Just not clear about his part in the whole Kyle Beach thing... at minimum, compliant. Has he learned anything? Assume so. I would be okay with a second chance. Who says he would even be interested.

Just hope for you guys that it's not Bergevin. Though he did make some very good trades, he also have that tendancy to fall in love with the vets. See Brendan Gallagher contract......Joel Armia....Paul Byron....etc.

My No1 choice for you guys would be Scott Bradley for Boston or.....Jeff Gorton?

I don’t think Bowman or Q can return to the NHL until they are cleared by Bettman and the NHL. Not happening in 6 weeks.

Nooo he is a former Soo alum.

So... It's a different person.

Look at the Carolina and Seattle teams.

It likely won't happen anyway because to entice him to Toronto you have to give both roles and Shanahan doesn't look like he's going anywhere.

Which is quite interesting considering he's just as much, if not more responsible.

I just read today that Bettman already met with Bowman, and has a meeting scheduled after the season ends with Q.

We need someone who has a talent to see why “this” isn’t working.
Not just keep adding pieces around what isn’t working.

More on an ethical level than anything.

I've said it before and I will say it again, there are no morals in sports.

Perhaps there should be but there aren't.

If there were Evander Kane wouldn't be in the NHL.

Antonio Brown would have been out of the NFL about 5 years before he was.

Jon Jones wouldn't even be in the UFC, let alone world heavyweight champion.

Morals and Ethics don't exist in sports.

You can be a MASSIVE Piece of shit if You are successful.
