If the panthers win the conn smythe goes to the refs. The amount of flopping and interface they commit is unreal. Yet no penalties are called
Barclay Goodrow & Lafreniere
I like the Smythe as is, it is not always the leading scorer, but most often the MVP for the winning team. Even though it has in the past, I don't think it should ever go to a loser; it being a winning performance is part of the award in my mind. As it is now, it is IMO the most special player award in the league; it memorializes your performance that lead your team to a cup. You tell someone the winning team and Smythe winner and they'll have a good idea what that winning run looked like.I think the concept of the Conn Smythe should be different. I mean, it should be awarded to the playoff's most valuable player, not just to the player with the most points on the winning team. So yeah, McDavid is clearly the best player in the playoffs at the moment and should be the frontrunner for it.
I don’t know. Igor is def up there. But Trochek is literally in on everything. Playing time/asst or scoring big goals/face offs/hitting etcNo, if it’s the Rangers, Igor…
I meant the positive he turned it intoIgnorance is bliss eh?!!

He's the BEST !!!!McDavid putting the team on his back this series.
7 points in 4 games + 4
Now up to 28 points in the playoffs, first in the league.
Sure but if the Oilers win it's probably going to the captain right?Barkov, Shesterkin, Draisatl and Heiskanen are the Conn Smythe candidates of their respective teams so far with Draisatl being the best of the bunch imo.
Bouchard is working his way into the conversation.Sure but if the Oilers win it's probably going to the captain right?
