lol no dont try to make this an opinionBarkov should be up there. He is taking the game to a whole other level, shutting down the opponents best, while hitting, blocking and doing take-aways too. His FO% is almost 60% aswell.
8gp 4g 8a 12p +3 28hits 15 takeaways. He is starting 51,2% D-zone
If there was a Conn-Smyth for PP-points and offensive play, then its McDavid. Barkov has arguable been the best player in theese playoffs overall.
McDavid right now is pacing to destroy Gretzkys playoffs run assists record. Gretzkys most is 31, McDavid is pacing for 45 in 21 games.
If McDavid keeps this pace for 23 games he will beat Gretzkys POINTS record in a playoffs run by assists alone.
For me its McDavid.
too bad edmonton won't make it to the final.McDavid right now is pacing to destroy Gretzkys playoffs run assists record. Gretzkys most is 31, McDavid is pacing for 45 in 21 games.

Oilers have to make a solid long run first. McDavid and Drai have been putting up godly numbers in playoffs the last 3 years, but it takes a team to make it to the finals and win a cup.McDavid right now is pacing to destroy Gretzkys playoffs run assists record. I think the concept of the Conn Smythe should be different. I mean, it should be awarded to the playoff's most valuable player, not just to the player with the most points on the winning team. So yeah, McDavid is clearly the best player in the playoffs at the moment and should be the frontrunner for it.
Ya Barkov tooHard to overlook what Tkachuk is doing.
It's sort of easy to overlook by the historical offensive numbers being put up.Hard to overlook what Tkachuk is doing.
Not really when you see what McDavid, Draisaitl, and Bouchard are doing in Edmonton.Hard to overlook what Tkachuk is doing.
Bob needs to be part of the Florida listYa Barkov too

More games like last night and he'll be more than just a guy on a listBob needs to be part of the Florida list
For NYR honestly it could be Trocheck. Lots of hockey left to be played but hes been their most important F.Edmonton: Bouchard. He won't win it. They would give it to one of McDrai. But unlike McDrai, he has been consistently good to great in every game. No off nights. McDavid gets it probably.
Dallas: Heiskanen
Rangers: This might be the toughest one of all. Shesterkin by default imo. No other forward or D has been consistent enough
Florida: Barkov
This can all change because the SCF plays a huge part (Sans the glaring mistake in 03) in who wins it.
Was he not on the ice when McD scored?Read somewhere Heiskanen has been playing over 200 minutes past 7 games without being on the ice for a single goal against. Still underrated..
