This year, you really have to look at Matthews as the disappointment, and hope it's just one of those years.

The question if it comes down to it should utimately - whose contract and whose on ice play in the playoffs makes the team most competitive in the post -season.

Folks can make their own arguments for either guy from that.

Actually, hockey is now considered entertainment - not sport. Those days are long gone. Bettman has the Nhl rigged via the Refs & he/and whoever determine outcomes to facilitate the "sports" growth in the US of A where it ranks behind tractor pulling......Canada dosent seem to matter. One growing grass roots trend that is sweeping the US is severe financial backlash....I dont have to name the companies...I'd like the same to happen to MLSE so their shareholders can revolt & really wake them up. Everyone is in a daze....us fans have to live through this sh#t....it boggles my mind....
