What exactly does Reaves do?

According to Sportsmet Reeves will be sent to the Marlies for incriminating the Leafs. I don't have a link, but I heard it from watching the news.

Based on his event media comments, I don't think Reaves is going to willingly go away on ltir until it becomes clear he's not wanted on the Leafs or another team.

So either that happens, he's traded or Keefe puts him back in the lineup.

It's hard to see this happening again barring a whole of injuries to other players.

Speculation.... they needed a roster sport to bring back Bertuzzi, and McMann wasn't at practise.... IF they sent him down it would require waivers.... but it turns out that it's McMann's turn to go on IR, nudge, nudge, wink, wink...

I still think Reaves has something to offer. Keefe needs to deploy Reaves correctly. IMO Reaves should get a few shifts with Matthews/Marner/JT/Nylander here and there especially on teh road if things get a bit rough.

I recall Carlyle doing that with Orr putting him with Kadri/Kulemin or Kadri/Lupul and also sometimes with Bozak/Kessel in rough games. I think that worked pretty well and also had Orr involved in the game too.

If Carlyle didn't insist on the stupid "swarm" system I think leafs could have had some good years then. but......

No he’s still the same, talks a lot but doesn’t do anything. Reaves never fought Wilson as a Ranger, literally the only thing he was brought in to do. Would be better for everyone if he would stop talking and fade away into the outro music.

The idea Keefe is preventing the team or Reaves from acting tough is so wrong and silly. This is the biggest example, but also he put Simmonds and Clifford in the playoffs

Would honestly prefer Kyle Clifford or the recently retired Wayne Simmonds over him. Those guys have lost a few steps and can't be the power, grind players with a bit of fight to them. But Reavo has proven to have no hockey playing ability, questionable desire to actually be a fighter, talks too much as a WWE personality... and sucks.
