If Doughty doesn't sign over this summer, I wouldn't screw around just trade him.If they don't make the playoffs next season or get swept in the first round you can bet he will be gone.

Have to. Trade value goes down every day he gets closer to July 1, 2019.If Doughty doesn't sign over this summer, I wouldn't screw around just trade him.
who do you see beating vegas? nashville?
vegas is playing on another level that I have not seen in a long time. they play such swarming defense, they are all over the puck carrier instantly - it's a small (big?) victory when the Kings can just reach the redline. as jimmy would say, they are taking up the "time and space."
this is ugly.
Lmao the bandwagon is legit. Let's see if they can name all 23 on the rosterAll the lifelong Vegas fans in the background.

The reality is all this team has done is shift around fringe players the last several years, some major pieces need to be moved otherwise it's more missing the playoffs or early exits with no light at the end of the tunnel.

I can respect it, I don't understand it.Look guys, the reality is this team is not a contender, not even close. If you want to keep making the playoffs and lose in the first or second round every year like the Kings did in the late 90's and early 00's while cheering on players that were a part of the glory years that is fine, I respect and understand that. But if we want to win championships again in the Doughty, Kopitar era you need to move on from a lot of players you may enjoy cheering for.
I have said it enough times around here, but it's time to thank everyone involved in the 2011-12 through 2013-14 run and move on.
No doubt, but you have to do something. This is four years in a row, including getting the coach and GM fired, that's more than enough. It's LONG past time to stop ignoring the wingsThere's not necessarily a light if they make major moves. They could easily get lost in the wilderness for a decade no matter what they choose to do with the roster. Building a winner isn't a thing every team does all the time.
Oh, well I guess that settles it then...Nope, I'm BostonGuy21. My IP address is 104.156.206.6, which is located in Boston.
I never thought Robitaille should have been placed in his current position. Luc is a good time guy. I don't particularly like Rob Blake, but I am willing to give him a chance.
Now can we trade Carter, Muzzin, Martinez, etc. to get younger and better eventually? I have said it enough times around here, but it's time to thank everyone involved in the 2011-12 through 2013-14 run and move on. It's fine to hang onto selected leaders if management believes they will be a good influence on the youth they must bring in, but the rest gotta go to get the rebuild started.
