I have only seen one angle but I’m a little surprised it was a game. Expected a fine.

I don’t think DD needed to make that hit to stop that play. But, it’s playoffs. He should have knocked him into next week but he ended up hitting his head follow through or not.

Kings need to dig deep. This could be a rallying call or a death stroke.

If the game isn’t close I hope the Kings make it count physically.

I thought it would be farther from earth.
That's one of the softest calls I've seen in 30 years of NHL hockey. I've read your take on it through this thread and I'm having a hard time taking you seriously.

Why even show up to the game right? Maybe the best strategy is to just forfeit game 2 to avoid injuries and focus on game 3?

Ya, he was calling for it at the presser last night.

When you watch the video, Carrier is trying to jump around Doughty the same time the hit is being made. Thats why there is contact to his head. You can see him trying to chip the puck ahead of him and try and get by Doughty. If he drives the net, it shoulder on shoulder.

Hey guys. I was hoping you could give me some info on Muzzin. I picked him in my playoff draft not knowing he was injured. Are there any indications he could be back soon?

Eh, no contact yet. They say day to day, but he was "week to week" in late March, so we'll see. I bet he plays game 3.
 
It looked like a bad hit the first time i saw, no replay of it has changed my mind. Still surprised it got a playoff game suspension though.
 
Maybe if Doughty wouldn't have taken a stupid, angry headshot Kings would have a shot at game 2. If they blow this series, you can thank him.

I get it, dude was pissed they were down a goal in the first game of the playoffs in the 3rd period. He didn't have to blatantly take his frustrations out on Carriers head. Doughty is a loose cannon and a menace to society.

He's lucky he only got suspended for 1 game.
