This is depressing, I can only imagine how much Doughty must have either flipped out in the hearing or how much he is flipping out now, away from dept player safety.

The McGregor fight was rigged, you don't think this match up can't be?

Its not rigged, if doughty didnt make that hit at all, then he wouldnt have been suspended. Im not saying i think he should have been suspended, he shouldnt have but lets suck it up and play game 2. Lets not turn this into anymore of a **** show then it already is. Plenty of other fans didnt like when the Kings won and can bring up reasons why the NHL wanted the kings to win, do you think it was rigged then?

I fully believe that all professional sports have a tinge of conspiracy to them. The NBA already had that proven and there is a lot of instances where the NFL is real shady.

Keith only got a game for the Carter slash because the League was in the tank for Chicago.

This is a business at the end of the day. Doesn't mean they are going to just go out and call a ton of penalties against the Kings but, when given a chance to impose their will, they can do so.

Nobody would have batted an eye if he didn't get suspended: even lots of Vegas fans.

Is there a precedent for a shoulder to shoulder hit, that hit the head, secondarily and got a suspension? This is the first I know of and is almost akin to hitting someone shoulder to shoulder and they
fall and hit their head secondarily. It's ridiculous.

I'm not saying that the league called Doughty and told him to do it. Im saying the league saw an opportunity to advance the Knights and took it. If you don't think that happens look at that stats of the Knights.

In this place and time, yes.
 
Wish Clague was ready....actually wish that Ladue played more this year and was a little more seasoned and making a big impact. He's been decent, but was hoping he would have
played more and had more of an impact this year.

marty did 30+ when we lost forbort, wouldn't surprised to see it again, probably gonna have to split them up right?

all them gonna be dragging around some boat anchor rookies so this is probably gonna be a full defensive shell game

Fair enough. Still lets suck it up (internally we can **** all we want, but we look silly and a petty after our loss, blaming the league).

I don't think many people will take it lightly when they're teams odds of losing in the playoffs increases by external factors.

Meanwhile, Marchand gets fined in a regular season game for intentionally crosschecking a downed opponent in the face.

There is no consistency. Guarantee the next guy gets a slap on the wrist (provided it isn't against VGK). But I'd be thrilled to be wrong.

I hope the Kings brass doesn't just roll over in their comments regarding it. Stevens and/or Blake need to curry some favor and try to work some calls in their advantage tomorrow.

In all honesty though, the D pairings without Muzzin look like shit for a pre-season game.
 
****ing stupid suspension.

Gallant and Vegas cry about a bad hit and Doughty gets a game?

Much worse has been let go.

If they want to make a statement, fine, but I have a feeling the next headshot these playoffs won't even get a fine.
