Trading Sutter for Oshie and including Bennett seems like a perfect opportunity to do that.

Shero really, really messed up his last year. I don't know if I trust Madden, but I hope Kunitz isn't enough of an ******* to decline to be moved to Toronto. Babcock is there, that should be some positive incentive.

So spend the better part of $50M on a guy that is essentially a clone of the two guys we've already got? Except the team he's with now doesn't want him and the team before that didn't want him. Our new coach and GM will straighten him out though right? He'll take us all the way to the SCF?

Why do we need Kessel? We're paying $20M/year for two guys that are supposed to score and take us all the way. In the post season, we've FAILED for half a decade because of injuries, lack of performance, coaching, management, etc. So we bring in Phil to be there when everyone else gets hurt or isn't feeling it in the post season? Is that worth $50M over 7 years, his trade clause and whatever BS the guy brings into the organization, locker room, etc? All so he can say he "wants traded" a year or two from now when he's standing in Sid or Geno's shadow?

Pens are injury prone. Maybe they've been targeted. Maybe they haven't had any balls on this team in a while. Fact is they were solid, even very good early on this year and went into the ****ter towards the end when it mattered because of injuries. I'd rather see them put together a 90-100% healthy season first before trading away youth (Maata, Kapanen) and spending $50m on another 'star'. We have plenty of those here.

You are well on your way to getting added to most posters ignore list. You don't like Kessel and can't back up why other than he's expensive and our team doesn't need another 'star'.

Why don't you build a roster so others can see what your ideas are?
