We should take advantage of this. No idea what the hell they're doing over there. I'm sure Flyers fans are thrilled though. Hextall has done a good job so far this off-season.

Yep. Kick the tires on every single guy who does anything positive. Hell, I'd kick the tires on guys we don't even need and re-sell them if Sweeney bit on something loopy.

Yeah, but the other two are. They seemed high on Payerl a year ago and they could still usee him. It sounds like D'Agostino has been underwhelming but with the D pool a little thinner it wouldn't hurt to give him another year or two.

Payerl got injured and came back a much less effective player. He wasn't winning board battles or doing any of the stuff that made the team like him, he was just kind of there. Pretty disappointing, I really liked what I saw from him in first year in WBS.

No joke, there is something wrong with Sweeny. Not even joking. Is there any legal drugs in Boston? He's smoking something no doubt. Maybe we can get their 1st for Kunitz?

Well he did rip off Lombardi in the Lucic deal. This one evens it out.

I really don't agree that he did though, that was a pretty poor return for Lucic overall. Goalies don't have much value in trades and the prospect was a throw in prospect. It was basically the 13th overall for Lucic, which isn't really a steal.

This is the worst week I've seen a GM have since, well, any week Milbury was a GM. Every organization in the league should be on the phone with them right now.

If were talking the Lucic of a couple of yrs ago I would agree. But this was a very deep draft and no way does the Lucic of today warrant a mid level 1st rounder++. His decline over the last couple of yrs is staggering. The only thing he will really bring to the Kings is size(not needed) and his toughness.

That was my thought too, after a bunch of other terrible moves this is like him trying to throw raw meat to the mouth breathing portion of the Bruins fanbase.

"Sully, we may have lost Lucic's 20+ goal potential and a guy who could have anchored our D for 15 years, but look at this. We've still got lots of guys with questionable judgement. Come on, Sully."
