I have 100% faith in the league to f*** the suspensions up.
Should be Pietrangelo and not Nurse but I bet it will be both or neither.
They manage games right in front of our faces every night so it would be weird for them to not “manage” these suspension decisions.
This.... I fully expect McDavid and Eichel to both get suspended instead of Pietrangelo and Possibly Nurse because the NHL is going to NHL and some how f*** this up far greater than any one could possibly have expected.

They'll be like you only can get a game suspension if the recipient has a broken wrist and is out for remainder of the playoffs cause then it's just. This is a play where the act should absolutely supercede any sort of injury.
Teravainen got a broken wrist and out for the playoffs from a slash by the Isles and there was no penalty on the play or any fines/etc. afterwards. League just doesn't care.

Always enjoyed watching McDavids puck handling and speed, now he is bringing some spunk. This type of passion and investment in your team is what is needed if great players want to win Cups.

Great performance by the Oilers last night. They absolutely dominated physically. Draisaitl was a horse and had several massive hits.

When the Oilers use their size and team speed they are an absolute handful. They are a big team with lots of speed and skill. That heavy forecheck and cycle opens up their speed transition game which can just bury teams when they get rolling.

Some real nastiness in that game, the Knights got the shit kicked out of them all over the ice.

Game 5 should be a spicy one, hopefully the Oilers can play the way they did last night.

And once again, Skinner bounced back

This series is confusing. I wake up at 6am to decide if the 3rd is worth watching... has been out of hand each time... lol

Who would've guessed that this would be the series of the playoffs with the most bad blood?

Yeah it's odd. There's really no history between these teams or even any players in particular. People tried to hype the McDavid vs Eichel thing but there's no animosity between them.

There's plenty of history between Vegas and Evander. 3rd playoff series now where his only objective is to stir shit up. Only difference is this time Reaves isn't around to make him hide in a corner with his tail between his legs.

They haven't played each other since 2018-2019. Is there really that much history between the 5 or 6 players the remain from that team?

Oilers look poised to win in 6.
Especially if Vegas loses Alex Pietroangelo for the series. This has been an incredible playoff run so far. Entertaining series with LA and now Vegas. Dallas or Seattle gonna bring this type of drama?

I don't think we're allowed to use that word to describe anything in this series. This has been one of the most undisciplined back and forth series I've seen in some time.

The emergence of Skinner has really propelled you guys into being legit cup contenders. Maybe even favorites.

Having that young calder finalist starting goalie. Cost controlled and reliable. Only gonna get better. That's gonna elevate your entire team and make you a serious threat to win multiple cups with this core.

Goaltending was the big question mark for you guys, and now it's not anymore. Oilers are a scary team.

Great win for the Oilers. I would say in both series against LA and Las Vegas when the Oilers have played hard and with energy they have really taken things over. Unfortunately they keep reverting back to low energy and flat efforts. Credit to the other teams for their push back also but the Oilers overall efforts have fallen off a cliff every few games with terrible mental mistakes.

have you been paying attention?

Vegas looked poised to win in 5 after game 3....

Neither of you are on point here. Until shown otherwise, both teams have taken turns showing up with flat efforts when things don't go their way early.

Neither side is poised to do anything but admittedly, Edmonton will get a heavy advantage from the inevitable Pietrangelo suspension.
