Pietrangelo is a beast. This is the best I've seen him place since he won the cup with the Blues in 2019. He is in 2019 Blues cup form. Vegas badly missed him in game 5.

Getting the win without him in game 5 was such a massive W it can't be understated. It really should be 3-2 oilers for tonights game. Props to Vegas for stepping up and finding a way to win.

On the other side of it. The oilers didn't look bad without Nurse. The guys an absolute block head.

How does the NHL justify an 8:00 PM MDT start with only one game being played today?

Just noticed that. The league's generational star fighting for his playoff life in a series that has become very heated with no other competing game on the schedule and the NHL can't find a way to get the game into prime time. Unbelievable.

I gotta be up at 6AM. Ridiculous timing.

Most people got jobs to go to, and the NHL wonders why it isn't popular in the U.S.

Yes, 8pm is prime time in EDM and the entire MDT zone. Thank you for that important information. Now here's some information for you. The MDT zone represents less than 7% of the population in the US, and I think even you would agree that even if the game was on at 3AM, all of EDM would be watching regardless so it really doesn't matter about prime time in EDM or the MDT zone. What matters is selling your star and your sport to the maximum number of people and that means catering to the Eastern and Central time zones, which represent 77% of the population.

No matter how you slice it, this is a gross fail by Bettman, the NHL and ESPN.

EDIT: And to make matters worse, I just looked, the only NBA game is on at 3:30 this afternoon which means they don't even have the excuse of a competing NBA playoff game.

Honestly so tired of these loser fans from Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. Nothing to cheer for so they cheer against the oilers. True loser mentality.

What's the big deal? Even Oiler fans are cheering against the Oilers.
