Just noticed that. The league's generational star fighting for his playoff life in a series that has become very heated with no other competing game on the schedule and the NHL can't find a way to get the game into prime time. Unbelievable.

I suppose since the NHL is such a second rate league, one of it's marquee events can't even compete with an insignificant 40th ball game in a 162 game season.

Terrible for fans, a boon for the owners. They ar e getting boat loads of cash and that’s what’s important to Bettman and them. It’s why Bettman is the President and why the owners love him.

Prime time is when you would have the most viewership. A 10PM ET start time on a Sunday night means 75% of hockey fans will be unable to start or finish this game. That is not Prime Time.

Yea. I get that it was likely scheduled when there was still the possibility of Leafs/Panthers playing at 7, but there should be some flex in the schedule.

You basically make most of the game unwatchable for the east coast when it’s a potential elimination game for the best player the league has seen probably since Lemieux.

Pietrangelo is a beast. This is the best I've seen him place since he won the cup with the Blues in 2019. He is in 2019 Blues cup form. Vegas badly missed him in game 5.

Why is this game at 10est on a Sunday? No game before it, no NBA game at night. What a wasted opportunity to attract more national attention. Even 8mst is kind of late for a home game for the Edmonton fans.
