How soft is hockey becoming that this is controversial?
I don't want them to do that but it's silly to not expect it.

There wasn't really anything controversial in those clips either. Those are normal plays. Several of those are just a normal run of the mill hits. If you put an iso camera on any player I'm sure you could put together a similar package.

Guess the Knights need to do a little scouting and see what's bothering McDavid that last little while. Then start exploiting it! I'm sure it will be all good! Nothing to see here. Not even worth mentioning, to be honest.
It doesn't take a genius to realize McDavid's leg is bothering him so sure, have at it. The flames tried doing that to their daddy Draisaitl last year but they got the wrong ankle. Maybe if they did a bit more research they wouldn't have got reverse swept?

Oilers fans are so accustomed to dog poo goaltending that when their goalie makes 2 decent saves and allows a softie every third shot, they still respond with 'but think about those 2 saves, he was really keeping us in the game'.

I think that comes with having two superheroes on the team who usually can score anytime they want. Imagine Skinner on a normal offensively challenged squad. He'd be out of the league in a week.

I think the Oilers should put together a futures package and go after Hellebuyck if the Jets rebuild....

Yeah I'm sure when the 40th cross check to Stone's back sends him back the operation room, all he's gonna be thinking about is how saavy the Oilers are.

You dont seriously believe a guy getting crosschecked in the crease is targeted, do you?

I dont think I've ever seen a dude not get cross checked while in the opponents crease. Like even in childrens hockey.

The panel is just trying to spice things up. The Oilers know that Stone's back is in rough shape and they won't pass up chances to get a hit in, but that clip package is very tame - especially considering most occur right in front of the net.

This time on Playoff Survivor IV: @Dr Pepper is caught practising medicine without a license. @Frenchy finds out he's really Belgian. @Fenway falls into a coma.... with sexy results and @hangman005 breaks out of a mental institution. That and something about hockey I guess.

Registration closes Monday 8th May.

Your regular season goal stats mean nothing in the playoffs because it's a different beast. You know this.

The greatest difference is the distinct difference in sample size, which plays a great role in creating the impression that the post-season is so wildly different. Apply the same scrutiny to individual stats during the first 5-20 games of a season and you'll find lots of booms and busts, too. Hockey is a game of high variance and chance, thus you require a solid sample of games to assess the quality of play. Of course, pressure and the heightened focus on detail creates some difference between the regular- and post-season, but I don't think it's fair to pretend that it is all that different.

Rishaug already posted a video that shows what is wrong with him lol.

End of the day they should be all over McDavid regardless, but he is tough to hit.

Give me more of Bieksa disagreeing with Eakins, that was spicy.

It's the after the whistle cross-checks into the back that need to be looked into...
Again it's become the norm in the NHL. Have no idea why the league continues to allow it, but they do. Make one or two calls and the players will stop.

Just wanted to let other knights fans know its just been announced all of our non-national games next season are going to be available for FREE over broadcast, channel 34 in Las Vegas. We finally have the answer to ATT sportsnet demise, and its an awesome one!

Back on topic, lets have a great game Saturday against the oil!

Same can be said about watching Carolina. When Aho is your most talented player you're really left wanting something more
The structure and cohesion they play with as a team is a beautiful symphony.

Oilers are all chaos. Bad gaps, bad back checks, mental errors galore

I can't believe fans get so bent out of shape about non-traditional market teams and the brand of hockey they play. 90% of the rosters are Canadian!!! Who cares?!

Lol true. Probably why Americans aren't into hockey. It's those damn immigrants ( obviously a joke. Just a joke, people)
