Pardon my absence, but can anybody tell me the point of reference for the du jour usage of 'classless' in regards to the Kings? I though it was for the Nolan sucker punch, but that has long since past and it is certainly not relevant today.

It makes no sense. No one in the LA metro area should be chanting "Beat LA".
 
Apparently Dean Lombardi was supposed to joint the TSN broadcast at some point during tonight's game. Am I the only one that missed it or did it just never happen?

Game 2 will be absolutely pivotal if we want to win this series.

If we win Game 2 it will be tremendous. That way we can afford to drop 1 at home if it comes to it and head back to the honda center with the lead.
 
Did anyone notice that pass from Muffin in the offensive zone to his right side and nobody was there to be seen ?

I was wondering where the Kings' other defender was, then the camera went to the right side and Greene was standing there in the middle of nowhere. Pretty much in the neutral zone, almost at the Kings half.

Dude just knows he cant skate anymore and stayed way behind.


Best Kings players IMO, Lewis, Richards, Quick, Martinez.

If we can play this bad, and still win, than life is great.
 
I know Richards has been getting a lot of **** for his play lately, and deservedly so. But man, has he turned it on in his past 2 or 3 games. That speed burst last night, I thought it was Carter wearing Richards' jersey. Then that throw toward the net where Gabby worked his magic totally made up for Richards' open net botched shot.

Guys who normally go into playoff beast mode are really ratcheting it up!
 
Random but what happened to Nagy when he was on the kings. I know he got injured but he fell off the map. What happened to him when he was a king?

I agree. Splitting on the road gives us the opportunity to go up 3 games to 1. Key word is "opportunity". But stealing both games on the road will put the Ducks in a tough position. Its a race to 4 and we now have a short lead.

Nice to know the Ducks didnt add a gamepuck to their dressing room plaque at our expense!:yo: Go Kings Go!
