To be honest, I wasn't even trying to be funny. I was simply stating that the guy is so bad he'll apparently play for the wrong team. And then I realized how many times the Kings have accidentally scored on Quick

In my humble opinion I really think they will dress a 6th dman, but they will roll with 5 as long as the game is close. Only reason to dress the 6th is an emergency in case another dman goes down.

I think if they had any better options they'd have exercised them before bringing in Schultz.

When the Schultz call-up was made the Kings had Greene available and the Monarchs were still actively playing in the AHL playoffs. With the lose yesterday, the Monarchs are out of the the playoffs and all the black aces will be coming. They say exit interviews and call-ups early in the week. To me, this means, exit interviews for dmen, NOW and be in LA by tomorrow.

That being said, DS will play the experienced Schultz over any other option.

That is the most salient point skebo, DS will play Schultz no matter what (of our remaining D) so rather or not McNabb is yet another young D that will be a very very good dman for us (as I see it) or KG or even Forbort (who I think should start seeing his call ups this coming season. He is close to ready but not there just yet) doesn't really matter as DS will go with the most experienced player available to him as often as possible.

Schultz is slow but can be effective. I would play Bods or Gravel but with KG testing things in July (allegedly) we won't likely give him a shot and Bods though having proven himself ready and capable (or as ready as he can be) won't likely be given his chance due to his size unless we must play him due to injury.

A quote from the night sent to my friend via text; "The Kings got this, Breathing Underwater by Metric just played at the bar."

Dammit Gabby, why aren't you signed already!
