As a neutral fan, Pavelski playing more than Hintz, Stankoven, Benn and Seguin is completely inexcusable. Much respect for the guy, but his finished.

Pavelski - 16:52
Hintz - 15:59
Stankoven - 15:39
Benn - 15:13
Seguin - 14:00

Wonder if it's a ln injury Tanev can play through? The foot is tricky you can feeling like you can play then go out there make one wrong turn and agitate it to the point you can't continue. I would like to see him continue but does Dallas risk it? If he can play even half as good as he has been this year then it's worth it but if he has to sit half way through the game then you are short a player for the rest of the game. Thats why I've always hated foot/ankle injuries.

I didn't even see what happened that he injured it on hopefully nothing serious

I want to hate the Oilers. I really do.

But they're a good f***ing team.

Imagine if they had even average goaltending. This series would probably be over or, at worst, 3-1.

Both CF have been incredible fun to watch.

Given how many shots he blocks, seems like an inevitability.
Maybe, but other players block shots too, usually without any major injuries.

He just seems more injury prone.

Guy gets injured on more “fluke” plays than anyone else in the league.

I'd like to think most Oiler fans aren't even bothered by it, Avs were a wagon that year.
Now if we got swept by Flames or Canucks? That would sting.
I think we were bothered by it, in that we were hoping for better, but I think most of us are smart enough to see that, as you said, the Avalanche was a wagon that year. They lost four games in the entire playoffs. It was one of the most dominant playoff runs ever.

Is there any update on the guy who took the Tanev picture? Judging from Tanev's stare, it doesn't look like he'll make it.

Fibula isn't much of a weight bearing bone (looked like he took the shot off the outer ankle) so doesn't necessarily tell us anything. You can walk in a boot with a broken fibula if its a non-displaced fracture in many cases.
Yeah, we don't know what his injury is. Hell, if he can walk around on it, he might even play on it, regardless of what it is. There are some warrior players who play on severe injuries every year. I wouldn't be shocked if Tanev did and we find out later that there is a break in there.

I think Tanev walking on it, even with a boot but without crutches, indicates he’ll play but they might have to manage his minutes. The guy is a warrior.

If he takes another one off the same foot he’ll be done. I’ve been there before.

It's a major risk for Dallas no doubt... if he re-injures it, they are pretty much forced to play Heiskanen 27 mins again. Miro's an unreal dman but those are crazy mins

Oilers has outshot Stars all 4 games, they are there. Skinner and mental breakdowns in games worries me a bit though.

Think Stars peaked to early, playoffs is a marathon, you need stamina and fuel för later rounds .
