They need to get Nash back on a line with BrassGod. They are checking him tight and Richie is certainly not making any room for him. Nash carried this offense all year and I'm not writing him off yet. Still had a great assist to win Game 3.

Wow just wow
Good pick ups from Columbus
Brassard is really good, so is Moore and Dorset looks like a keeper
Close was a good addition to the line up
Need to bury some of those chances
Now is Nash time, hat trick for him in Washington

It's probably unhealthy to love 23 uniformed men who ice skate and several dozen anonymous internet users, but I do.

It would be nice if Torts would look at the game, and at the stats, and stop trotting Richards out there so much. He is being outplayed by Stepan and Brassard by a significant margin.

Look out for Oates to put the Ovi line out against Brassard when they go back to Washington. Zucc-Brass-Boyle can't deal with their forecheck.

Torts deserves a ton of credit (that he's not getting) for getting out the right lineups to shut down Ovechkin. Putting Nash/Hags-Step-Cally, easily our best forechecking line, out there against the OV line every time, forced OV to play in his own end.

#8 can't score if the puck is in his end, and almost any time he was on the ice, the puck was in his end.

Cally and Step may have only put up a point each, but their impact on this game was HUGE

It's amazing the way Stralman has picked up his game the past two years. From a guy who couldn't make the Bluejackets out of camp to an underrated key performer on the blueline.Really stepped up his game since Staal went out.

I'm not trying to be a debbie downer, but we have to be wondering what Nash will be like from here on in.
I hear people talk about possible injury. I hope not, but the flip side is that if he is not injured something has to change.

Hank needs to step it up, hopefully he bounces back, usually does after a bad game for him. D has been really good except for Del Zaster, when Staal comes back, I want him benched over Eminger, Eminger does take stupid penalties every once in a while, but, for the most part, can fly under the radar(the bad goal the exception), which is all we ask of a 6D.

Good to see Girardi showing that he can still hit a shot on the PP. I also thought Clowe made a major impact in the physicality of the game, good to have him back.

I'm confident, we've got a best of 3 on our hands, but we've got the momentum, if Hank can get back into god mode, and we can win in Washington on friday, I like our chances. Friday a must win, I really don't want a game 7 on the road, and it gives us a chance to close it out at home sunday night.
