Agreed. I wrote a review of the Tampa game, and mentioned how that game was the best showing from Wheeler as a center, and how Laine had a ridiculous night beside him. They quite literally went from their very best game to something very close to their worst in two days.

Roslovic was a champ tonight, hate to think how it would have looked without him there.

Let's talk about how garbage that Haula goal was.

I'm reminded of Sean Avery holding his stick in front of Lundquist eyes.

It doesn't matter if Helle had to puck covered. Smashed a goalie in the facemask with your stick is goalie interference. Maybe Helle thought "I think the puck is under me, i should lay down on it-"

*Smashed in the face*

"Wait, the puck just smashed me in the face"

*Looks for puck*

Stopped watching live after the first. Just finished the game. Holy f***!

Apparently not only is breaking your stick across a goalie's head with a slash not a penalty in today's NHL, they don't even consider that breaking a stick across the goalie's head is even goaltender interference????

WTF NHL!!!!

Who knows how that affected the game.

Can't believe we didn't score in OT.

Why can't Lowry stay healthy?

First game in a long time where we got "special teamed" That shortie might have been our worst PP of the whole season.

Coach Maurice scrum topics: What was the explanation for the goal that was allowed to stand. What were his thoughts on the second Vegas goal against after the Neal slash to Hellebuyck's head? On why he gave Kyle Connor another shot after the 3rd period penalty. Thoughts overall on Kyle Connor's game. On why he flipped Tanev/Armia. Did the officials concede that they missed the Neal slash? On the memo the NHL sent out on "letting more go".

Well, despite godawful games from Wheeler and a couple others, and no Scheif, Trouba, or Kulikov in the lineup, the Jets ground out a point and did not look outmatched doing it, against a top team. A healthy Jets team wins this game.

Steel sharpens steel. Jets will be angry and hungry next game. And hungry for the post-season.

Interesting that you focus on him totally over Wheeler. Laine for sure was really bad. But for sure Wheeler was the worst player on the ice tonight. Just completely the opposite of what he has been for quite a while already. He was the one who really cost the win for the Jets, Laine is the next in line, but there’s absolutely no way that Wheeler was not the worst player on the ice. He was the one who absolutely cost two goals clearly with his own piss poor play. Laine would only get ”assists” to both of those goals...
I disagree. This was Laine worst game I’ve seen. Completely disengaged. Don’t even know what to say here. Wheeler at least had a few decent moments.

Why wasn't it a high sticking penalty? Or slashing? Call it what you want

We did not deserve a point....take the money and run. Laine and Myers were such trash tonight.

I want no piece of Vegas in the playoffs.
Just got home and us stealing a point was the way I saw it as well. In past seasons we would not have had all these extra loser points to pad the total.

Its weird ppl would rather throw our players under the bus but ignore the reason the game was in OT in the first place... Yup Wheeler struggled... Laine was ok but since Blake struggled Patty did also... Thats his Center bro.

Despite that tho... The reason we actually lost was because our goalie got slashed in the head and refs decided thats ok .

So those Laine turnovers were Wheeler's fault?

Wheeler blew chunks tonight and Laine sucked them.
