Interesting that you focus on him totally over Wheeler. Laine for sure was really bad. But for sure Wheeler was the worst player on the ice tonight. Just completely the opposite of what he has been for quite a while already. He was the one who really cost the win for the Jets, Laine is the next in line, but there’s absolutely no way that Wheeler was not the worst player on the ice. He was the one who absolutely cost two goals clearly with his own piss poor play. Laine would only get ”assists” to both of those goals...
you can't be serious...

Again I literally posted

You can even click on the small up-arrow by the quote and it will take you to the full post.
And still Nope. I took your post as it was from the GDT. Just checked it and there was absolutely nothing else but that line about Laine. Couldn’t anymore at that moment post to the GDT, so I posted here my comment.

I'm not a fan of this"you are as good as your last game"philosophy.
He has been good in his 5 previous games...
Which does not make him exempt from critique for the multiple shortcomings in this game (also, it does not wipe away his string of solid showings prior to this game). I'll say this, though - the vast majority of the last five or so games have been good ones - heck, even great ones - but this one... oh boy. There is no defending this performance.

oh YOU guarantee it.. thats good enough for me!!
I like armia as much as the next guy but come on. 24 years old. 10 points 2 years ago, then 20 last year and probably reaches 30 this year.

I mean that's fine and pretty good for a bottom 6 guy that fills a niche role but if he's in your top 6 you are Arizona

Please Understand
Boy, there's a lot of angst from people here over getting an overtime point out of the best league in the Western Conference. Did we deserve it? That's arguable. Probably not. Oh well. Take it and move on. The Jets are in the best position they've ever been in, and they got a point out of a stingy team in a game they probably didn't deserve a point in. Take it and move on to the next one. Have a good night.

Also, I hope Lowry is okay. I'm glad it was just a puck in the face and not I'm more definite injury, like a shoulder or leg or something. Hopefully they just held him out for preventive measures.

hes getting hardly any minutes and will hit 30 points.. maybe not a first liner but 2nd line with 50 points easy with little and ehlers. or even connor little armia.

Not gonna argue with that. Haven't seen all the games this season, but this was by far worst that iv'e seen from him.
And same goes with wheeler..

Winter is Coming
Its weird ppl would rather throw our players under the bus but ignore the reason the game was in OT in the first place... Yup Wheeler struggled... Laine was ok but since Blake struggled Patty did also... Thats his Center bro.

Despite that tho... The reason we actually lost was because our goalie got slashed in the head and refs decided thats ok .

Jealous of Vegas fans getting a great season from the get-go, too bad they couldn't enjoy the riches of a franchise like Atlanta.
There may be thirty other team owners who are a little peeved at how things are going for Vegas. The Leafs have been waiting 51 years for a cup.

Roslo carried the top line today.

Ehlers needs to stop pretending he's back in the Q

I blame Maurice for the loss. Players are having an off night and you reward them by giving them more ice time in OT.
agreed. i think he needs to reward players who are having good games in these instances i mean if you are roslovic connor armia you would prob be super annoyed sitting there shift after shift watching after having such great games. if it was me i wld just go hit the showers early lol

Agreed. I wrote a review of the Tampa game, and mentioned how that game was the best showing from Wheeler as a center, and how Laine had a ridiculous night beside him. They quite literally went from their very best game to something very close to their worst in two days.
