Was going to say the same thing, where is the improvement in Laine’s game this season.

Wheeler should have skipped the All Star game!

Mo needs to figure out the 3 v 3, you don’t just roll 4 guys the whole 5 minutes!

Ehlers had a real Gump like game, mindless skating and no scoring or playmaking threat!

yes but instead of going to the bench for a fresh guy after the scrum he goes back into the play and is useless.. sometimes i think those Skol chants rattled his brain to hard and or hes just stupid <shrugs>

What an awful awful game by Laine

Interesting that you focus on him totally over Wheeler. Laine for sure was really bad. But for sure Wheeler was the worst player on the ice tonight. Just completely the opposite of what he has been for quite a while already. He was the one who really cost the win for the Jets, Laine is the next in line, but there’s absolutely no way that Wheeler was not the worst player on the ice. He was the one who absolutely cost two goals clearly with his own piss poor play. Laine would only get ”assists” to both of those goals...

Buff was probably our best player in the past in overtime, but as soon as the change to 3 v 3 came, overtime just doesn't fit him well, and he knows it. He's even said he hates 3 v 3, but PoMo keeps shoving him out there.

Laine needs to move down the line up. He's seriously dead weight on everything besides the PP. He has to be sheltered more with 2 defensively sound veterans like Perreault and Little or something

Yet Buff was the one who actually played well tonight (including the OT), and the one who will likely be blamed for everything that can even somewhat reasonably be put on him.

Overtime should be young fast guys with good cardio.

Overtime should be Ehlers morrissey Connor Roslovic etc. guts with a lot of wind and speed.

I still think you need to play your best. Other teams don't sit there top players just because they are not the fastest. Just be smarter and seperate Wheeler/Laine/Buff. That is just a stupid 3 to have out to begin with.

Wheeler/ Roslo or Connor and Myers
Laine/ Roslo or Connor and Buff
Armia/ Perreault and Morrissey

Finish with who had the best chances/shift of those 4 groups if the overtime is still going.

Nice to see Armia again on the ice 3vs3. Why it's so hard to reward Armia for once, but so ridiculously easy to demote him...

It really is ridiculous that we role with the exact same 3 - 3v3 lines every single game and we always lose. Maybe there is a pattern at work here. Armia, Connor and Roslovic should have been out there.

If Laine plays like that, he is a liabity in the playoffs. He needs to tighten up his game, learn to stop and start, stop doing loop de loops waiving his stick around with one hand. Otherwise, he should only play on the powerplay in the post season. He was that bad tonight.
