I didn’t say that. I said every time they got a marquee guy who was supposed to be the missing link, it’s backfired. I don’t see why Eichel would be any different.2 division titles, 7 playoff rounds won in 4 years. Come on now, you can't possibly think they haven't been successful
How did Stone backfire? Brannstrom (AHL struggling), Oscar Lindberg (Out of the NHL), and a second round pick.I didn’t say that. I said every time they got a marquee guy who was supposed to be the missing link, it’s backfired. I don’t see why Eichel would be any different.
That just screams Las Vegas to me. So they are staying true to the soul of the city.Vegas sure loves their shiny new toys.

Well it's always going to be a "showcase" town. You have to keep upping the ante - pun totally intended - to stay relevant against the other attractions in the city. That just screams Las Vegas to me. So they are staying true to the soul of the city.
Eichel and a 1st to the Rags for third string ECHL goalie.Has Shawn simpson tweeted anything yet?
Seriously. 33 out of 32 teams make that trade.
And Pacioretty has been great for Vegas. Just wish they had given up Glass instead. That trade was a win-win.
Except adding him will make them the Leafs of the West, albeit with more playoff success. They are going to have to shed some major salary to make it fit long term and if they do that in the deal with Buffalo, the price goes way up.Vegas is going to be the runaway favorite in the West if they can add Eichel to their team IMO
So he debuts in 2022? Doesn’t he still need to have surgery?
Have they won anything? How did Stone backfire? Brannstrom (AHL struggling), Oscar Lindberg (Out of the NHL), and a second round pick.

seems like a very superficial way of managing players, I get this a business, but Vegas likes to churn players and send them on their way. Eichel might not be ready go until next season and who knows what kind of contribution he will have afterwards anyway. Such a tough deal. I feel there this will be a deal heavy on conditions. with buffalo adding picks and prospects to be named later if Eichel can't play again/doesn't reach a certain threshold of games played by a certain date.Vegas sure loves their shiny new toys.
Been thru this before, huh?I look forward to Eichel still being a Sabre next month.
Jack's best friend plays for the Flames as wellCalgary has better pieces and any first rounders will be more valuable than Vegas’. Plus it’s cold there and really far from Boston and we got bitter about this six months ago.
Zary, Pelletier, Coronato, 1sts, Francis, Poirier maybe Dube. Unlike Vegas with Krebs, Calgary’s prospects are all available (Well maybe not Wolf but Buffalo also doesnt need goalie prospects)What young players and prospects do the Flames have to give?
For reference on the financial difficulty of the trade between these two. It will be fascinating to see how it's done.
Which means………..
