When Vegas wins a cup, which was the point, then you can talk.It means you're confusing Vegas with the Sharks when their trades for Karlsson and Kane backfired.

Really? So Vegas goes to the cup, trades for Stone to get them over the hump, trades for Petro to get them over the hump… they can’t get over the hump. How am I wrong?I would say this is poor logic, but I'm not even sure you can call it logic.
Which means………..

If they don’t win in the next couple of years those contracts combined with the cost is going to hurt them, very similar to SJ and the moves they made. You do it to get you over the hump. If you don’t then it’s a failure. But, you know, winning divisional titles is cool and all.How are you right? Teams trade or sign for players every year to help them win a Cup. Most teams still don't win a Cup. That doesn't mean the trades and signings backfired. Stone and Pietrangelo are among their best players and are worth the contracts they were given. I can't believe that needs to be explained to someone.
Backfired how? You said they haven't won anything yet. But they've gotten consistently close more than almost any team.I didn’t say that. I said every time they got a marquee guy who was supposed to be the missing link, it’s backfired. I don’t see why Eichel would be any different.
For reference on the financial difficulty of the trade between these two. It will be fascinating to see how it's done.
Have they? Did they get participation trophies? Because last I remembered stone completely disappeared in the playoffs last yeAr.Backfired how? You said they haven't won anything yet. But they've gotten consistently close more than almost any team.
What about what he wrote do you disagree with enough for this response? Why link a reporter who can’t even skate? SinBin Ken is an idiot who knows nothing about hockey.
You don't even have to read the long thread to see how stupid it sounds. He can't figure out how someone he says will be a super star on the ice at a premier position could possibly make the team better now or in the future? That's idiotic. What about what he wrote do you disagree with enough for this response?
Wouldn’t Calgary have way more assets? Seems kinda silly. I mean the cupboards are pretty bare.
teams must be scared off

Both tho.More /= Better
In a vacuum, but with the salary cap and the injury situation it makes the deal very complicated. You act like there are no other complications but the talent involved. You don't even have to read the long thread to see how stupid it sounds. I don't know his work whatsoever, but the stuff I read there sure seems to make a lot of sense. His takes are remarkably bad, and he doesn't even know what the trade will be.
