Speculation: Vancouver Canucks are asking for Kadri + Bozak or Kadri + Gardiner for Luongo

McKowan doesnt know 100% for sure that was the situation. I'm sure they asked for Gardiner and they said NO! Everybody is still on board with not giving up Gards. Nonis isnt going to give away our top prospects. He will give away the dead weight we have.

Kadri + Bozak would be reasonable...though it would leave us even thinner down the middle. If Nonis could finally acquire a #1 center (or even an adequate replacement for Bozak) then I'd definitely consider it.
i could see him dealing Kadri but i would doubt it. I really think something like Bozak + Franson + a 2nd is more than fair. They could have Mac too if they wanted.

If we would end up trading Gardiner for anything but a legit #1 center, I would lose so much faith in this franchise, or whatever I have left.

How in the world does anyone think Kadri replacing Kesler?
One of the best 2nd. line centers is going to be replaced by a AHL center, who has played a handful of NHL games in that position?
This is a shortened season, with little time to adjust to the job.
Seems more likely the Canucks would be looking at Bozak, someone who has a couple season at the position they have a need. Will he replace Kesler? No, but he's played a top line job on one of the highest scoring lines in the league.

Kadri is not being moved. I think Nonis will have some real in depth discussions with Eakins to get his opinion of the Marlie young guns and figure out where they fit into Carlyles system and if they are ready to make an impact in the bigs. Frattin has a all-star shot and release he wont be going anywhere. Some of the unknown or Ifs will be part of a deal IMO.
