Speculation: Vancouver Canucks are asking for Kadri + Bozak or Kadri + Gardiner for Luongo

Value, yes. Would I be willing to though? Probably not. I'm pretty adamant that a deal can't be made because we (well me
) are not willing to part with Gardiner or any piece of equal or higher value. Yet I don't expect the Canucks to be willing to part with an elite goalie on a manageable albeit insanely long contract for scraps from a bottom seed team. So thanks, but no thanks.

Gardiner was named to the all rookie team, and Rielly was a 5th overall pick just last year....so yes.
EDIT: Sorry, misread that. I would say Gardiner only because he is more proven at this point.

Reilly has the higher ceiling, but I would never give up either in a deal for Luongo.

They're the exception, not the rule. All Luongo does is set a window that we're not ready for.

Gardiner isn't a prospect anymore... He is a young stud Dman of the same ilk as a Cam Fowler.
Rielly is a true Top Prospect on any NHL team.

Bozak + Colborne + Franson + 2nd.
They get a short-term replacement for Kesler who would be a great #3C, a B-tier prospect, a BC-born right-handed d-man with size and powerplay ability (they're lacking in right-handed d-men) and a 2nd. I'd even go as far as to swap 1sts with them.
Or throw Reimer in and take back a piece. He can serve as their back-up if they feel Lack isn't ready. Familiar with the area, trains there in the summer, and was practicing with Canucks players during the lockout so there's a familiarity with the Canucks players as well.
