It wouldn't surprise at all if he agreed to autograph Fred's book for you.

Wow! That’s awesome!I'm wearing my "The 401 Tavern Team Stanley Cup T-shirt 12-3-11" as I type this.
Rick was there.
I used to collect hockey cards as well.Wow! That’s awesome!
I just dug this up from my desk drawer. I had countless hockey cards as a kid, I own just one today.
Pardon my ignorance, but who is Faust?I need to ask about the title of this thread: "NESN is considering moving on without Jack Edwards"
Is there any truth to this? I know Faust didn't get his contract renewed and I certainly witnessed Jack seem way off lately. However, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Is NESN really considering moving on? Anyone know when his contract runs until?
Pardon my ignorance, but who is Faust?
Thank you.Called games for Kings. From YT, he calls a good game. He’s got a good voice.
Pardon my ignorance, but who is Faust?

I think you are talking about Mike Lang. In the late 80s/early 90s, I had the big dish. I would watch the "back hauls," which were the video being sent back to the studio, so no commercials. Mike Lang would curse a storm during many commercial breaks. Another one: "He put the puck top shelf, where Gramma keeps the gluten-free cookies."Sorry about that.
I don't believe he's still around, but the Penguins announcer (radio or tv?) from the 90s was annoying as hell.
He had all of these stupid, nonsensical phrases when they scored. Like, "He took the roof off the cab and shot the bacon," or some crap like that.
I hated that guy.
You could go after him.
Go on. Go after him.
It would be fun.
I hear you, It's tough cause on the one hand you want to watch the games , on the other hand the presentation is horrible.I wonder if SportsNet will have all the games, I hope so. I loathe giving them money again this season because their product was terrible. I hope they do better this time around.
Agree completelyGreat guy. Great play by play man. If indeed his time is up......he will be missed.
+1000 percent here.I wonder if SportsNet will have all the games, I hope so. I loathe giving them money again this season because their product was terrible. I hope they do better this time around.

Mike Emrick, at the time, was the Flyers PBP, and he often would talk to the satellite viewers during the breaks, for example, telling viewers what satellite and transponder the next game would be telecast.
Sanderson would annoy me sometimes, but provide great insights other times. For example, late one game with a one-goal lead, he told Fred that Andy von Hellemond hated da Broons and if he got the chance to call a cheap penalty on them, he would. He did, but they killed it. Another time, he heavily criticized a player during the break for shooting on a 3-on-1, yet after the break, they showed the replay, and Sandy, "Never a bad idea to take the shot."
