Surprised by how many ppl in here are saying they like him. He is consistently ranked amongst the worst in the business in league wide polls.
He's an extreme homer, obviously bruins fans are gonna love him and everyone else is gonna hate him. That how it works. The thing that surprises me is other fanbases still being surprised that the guy that has been the announcer of the bruins for the better part of 2 decades is beloved around here.

I wonder when we'll hear anything about Jack. I guess we'll see who does the pre-season games, but I am guessing if NESN was moving on from him we'd have heard already. And who knows, maybe he was able to get some treatment or therapy over the summer to help.

I really like our super duo, but Jack had gotten so slow, it was painful to listen to, he was always sounding behind the play. I sure hope he‘s back to ’dagger’ shape!

Maybe he has improved over this summer? If it was a stroke that caused his speech issues improvement can be made.

Not my cup of tea, but happy that he’s doing well enough that the doctors have given the okay.

He’ll bring some flavor to the Centennial and appreciate some of the historical significance of the things happening to honor the tradition.

I’d be ready to move on from both him and Brickley at any point and give the broadcast a shot in the arm.

Well said

Although Father Time is clearly closing quickly on Jack I was hoping he would be able to broadcast the Centennial season..,,.he will bring a ton of insight and information as we look back over 100 years

Then, sadly, I think it will be time to hang up the skates
