Afternoon of December.30th against Concordia at AUC
Thought I heard that over the PA when I was walking around the concourse. There’s nothing posted yet on either team’s schedules yet so I thought maybe I was imagining things.

Surprised it is is only one game though. UNB has two games available and you would think Concordia would want to play another one if they’re making the trip…unless they are going to play Moncton as well?

Sound systems seen better days. They announced it three times before I fully understood what was being said . Have to imagine that’s the next upgrade we see .

Kudos to UPEI players for participating in the “teddy bear clean up”, first time I recall that happening. Small gesture but classy for a good cause.

While final score or shots may not sing same song, I actually like what Forbie is piecing together. Play structurally sound, work hard. But certainly can use some offensive flair. Consistency will come with experience.

Besides going down 2-0 early , did anything of note happen? I was at the Red Wings game tonight
Bang-bang goal right away.

2nd goal is Gentile (RH shot) down the right side and beats Outhouse far side. Probably not a great goal to give up OR a great shot.

You will obviously never turn down the opportunity to add a quality player….and I’ve always said it never makes sense to worry about a half season problem for a 3-4 year solution….but with the talk of them adding a defenseman that would give them 8 solid guys back there…who sits in that scenario? Some tough decisions would have to be made (provided injuries don’t make the decision for them).

Even if they didn’t add one they have McGinley coming back which will make things tricky because Nolet has played really well. The only locks to stay in the lineup are likely Landry McCormick and McCallum .
