You gotta figure with TMU carrying 29 guys the competition is especially high with them.I watched ACA-DAL, QUE-ACA, QUE-DAL and UPEI-DAL and there were several scrums in those games. None of them resulted in penalties, but it's common, especially with new players trying to make their mark.
Hopefully as he closes in on these totals the team acknowledges it. We’ve all been pretty blessed to be UNB fans during the G-Mac eraDave Adolph retired with 488 Regular Season wins (Lethbridge and USask combined).
Gardiner is at 460 and would need a 28-2 season to tie and 29-1 season to set the record. Not impossible but unlikely - more like next fall ('24/25).
The following season, 24/25, would be Gardiner's 25 - Adolph set the record over 28 (three season's sooner for Gardiner). A combination of better records and some longer seasons (more games played).
I have no idea what the Playoff record would be - Gardiner is at 82-41. Certainly in the top 3, maybe the best?
For Nationals - Gardiner tied Tom Watt for the most championship game appearances, with 11, and tied Clare Drake for the most tournament games coached, with 42. If they go to Nationals this year - he would break Clare's record and another title (not far fetched) he sets that record as well.

“Program of excellence “You guys have been more than "blessed".
You had a great hockey AD in Kevin Dickie, great coaching staff with Gards, Hennie, Goodie and others, an AHL rink to play in, the pick of the litter when it came to recruiting, good fan base.
I could go on, but it all started with Gards back in 2000ish.
They dressed 18 skaters. Nolet shouldn't be warming up.Any idea if Nolet is hurt ? Everyone else took the warmup
We know.Just realized this is the fourth straight time Moncton has been the opponent for a National Championship banner raising…they were also here in 2019/2017/2016.
Blagden was tabbed as the 19th skater for warmup....Nolet was a scratch, I don't have any other details on him. They dressed 18 skaters. Nolet shouldn't be warming up.
Valid but I was more thinking for the intros , in the past guys who didn’t have injuries that impacted skating have skated out for intros , I remember Luke Lynes skated out after he hadn’t played in almost a year. They dressed 18 skaters. Nolet shouldn't be warming up.
I too was surprised he didn’t skate out for the player introductions. Like you said, in the past even the healthy scratches would skate out with at least their jersey on.Valid but I was more thinking for the intros , in the past guys who didn’t have injuries that impacted skating have skated out for intros , I remember Luke Lynes skated out after he hadn’t played in almost a year.
Not sure what his issue is - injury or illness. But definitely not healthy scratch.Any idea if Nolet is hurt ? Everyone else took the warmup
That was total bad luck on the 3rd goal. Puck rebounds off the back boards, he's trying to see where the rebound is going, it hits him and goes in.A dominant performance by the Reds. First period was actually close. Les Aigles rookie net minder Adam really let in a stinker for the third goal. The game got away from them soon after. Richard stopped a couple of breakaways to earn the shutout
Kinda pointless turning the lights out for 30 seconds now .Is the webcast using some different camera angles this season? Thought I saw one from in the Dalhousie net, which is cool.
On another note…no pre-game video this season so far is disappointing. They didn’t even have one for the season opener.
