Anyone know where Ross MacDougall was tonight? He shot in the shootout last night against X and played a large chunk of the 3x3... Would assume he wasn't injured. No sign of him at the rink either , I saw Hall, Gilmour, Somers and Keating sitting together.
Whatever is going on I hope all is okay. In the first half I was slightly underwhelmed, he wasn't bad but I would have pegged him at #6 of the guys who dressed but since the season started back up I have a hard time saying he hasn't been one of the top 2 Dmen. I really like the pairing of him and Carroll..

Probably best case scenario for UNB with having to face 7th place Moncton, who is fresh off a three game series and is missing their best player due to injury…vs. playing a more rested 5th place SMU team.

or having to play UPEI who has played them tough all year - really glad we aren't playing them.

Pretty simple script for this series - Moncton keeps it close, good defense, solid goaltending and capitalize on their turnovers while UNB has to capitalize on their 40+ shots they're going to get.

10 straight games now with a sub-10% shooting percentage. Every time they get a good look it seems the goalie makes a ridiculous save, the puck bounces over a stick, the shot goes wide, etc… I’ve never seen anything like it from a UNB team before.

It's like they all have the yips, other than Gilmour.

There was a Tweet the other day about the UNB women's team not getting any "respect" from the Gleaner.

I have it from a reliable source that this is the reason.
I assumed that was the reason. I saw a couple men’s players (Joe Gatenby and Sam Dove-McFalls) tweet about the situation today as well.

Groans. Why they have to do that tonight?
Not sure the impact it will have. It’s an in-person ticket deal (child is free/parent 1/2 price)….but it doesn’t seem like there will be many walk-up tickets available.

Hopefully it is a legit sell-out/packed rink and not one of those “sell-outs” with 1000 empty seats because the ticket holders decided not to show up.
