UNB Reds Thread (Part5)

Selling all sport passes to parents of women’s volleyball players is gonna end up screwing those out their who don’t have season tickets I would have to imagine .. I feel like this is why the attendance numbers often seem inflated .. Really glad I have one at the moment .

Sporting events can only be 50% capacity. Shouldn’t be an issue

I don't know the rules in NB, but perhaps the fact that a Quebec team is coming to town may be a factor? In NS they currently allow "league" games but not tournaments. I also don't know the PEI rules, but they have been stringent in the past.

That’s right. McGill is supposed to be going to UPEI as well.

I'm hearing that OUA has pushed back or is thinking of pushing back to almost the end of January to start the 2nd half.

Yes, but their only playing 20 games and Round 1 of the playoffs was a best of one, so they had some slack (not a lot but a bit) in the schedule.

The OUA teams had 12 regular season games left. If they start on January 24th they'd be lucky to play 6 or 8 plus a single knockout playoff.

Nicholas Guay's departure is will impact the Reds for sure.
They lose an elite recruit, impact player, who led the Reds with 25 points in 18 games played.
UNB is running streamlined, under the cap, since they didn't bring in any new additions for the second half.
Will more exit??

I’m watching to see if 4th year guys like Boland, Rassell and Dove-McFalls will stick around?
