I know there’s at least one fan of the Life and Times of Tim here, the spiritual successor called Ten Year Old Tom is on Max and is amazing , almost as good as Tim.
I liked it too, probably #3 or #4 for me for Jorgos movies behind The Lobster and The Favorite, maybe Killing of a Sacred Deer also. Agree Emma was great, thought Christopher Abbott put in a low key gem of a performance too.Wife and I saw Poor Things. Really good. Emma Stone is excellent
I can't stand him or his, ahem, 'comedy'. It says a lot more about SNL that they let him on as a cast member than it does about Davidson's 'talent'.Any Pete Davidson's fans? The king of Staten Island was pretty good and recently I started watching his new series on Peacock based on his current life (on Staten Island again). It's reasonably good with IMO outstanding cast that includes Joe Pesci, Edi Falco, Bobby Cannavale, Brett Garrett etc
I think I might be the only person in the world who didn't/doesn't like SNL. As for Davidson, every time I see him or a picture, my first question is "what's all the fuss about?"I can't stand him or his, ahem, 'comedy'. I tried watching 'King of Staten Island' but shut it off after I think 5 minutes.
The fuss stems from three things:I think I might be the only person in the world who didn't/doesn't like SNL. As for Davidson, every time I see him or a picture, my first question is "what's all the fuss about?"
Slow Horses is "da bomb"!!!!!!The fuss stems from three things:
1) His tattoos;
2) His dalliances with a couple of well known female pop culture icons;
3) His continuous repeated attempts to rehab and 'get clean', followed by precipitous falls off the wagon. We do love ourselves a train wreck in this country.
Anywho in the spirit of the thread I started watching 'The Bothers Sun' on Neflix. First episode was really good. And after finishing up 'Slow Horses' I can say that it has to be one of the five best series presently on television. The writing and acting is impeccable.
I can assure you that this 50-yo doesn’t care about his tattoos (I have none), nor his love life, nor his trips to rehab (though re. the last one I some compassion for this aspect of his life as well as some others). I do appreciate his humor expressed in various ways. I did mention the supporting cast for a reason - each and every one of those I listed I respect as actors and their involvement indicates to me a quality of this project. But we can’t argue a taste so to each his own.The fuss stems from three things:

Finished 10. These last couple of episodes make up for all the earlier crap. Season finale ended with a bang.
The first show of TD was pretty good . I'll watch the 2nd one tonight . We are also watching Banshee.......I'm glad I stayed with it . We are on episode 5 ......and he has been a busy guy after hours LOL....he certainly has a type ! Lots of action in it .Society of Snow was good, if a little slow and I already knew the outcome.
Leave The World Behind was okay. I liked the premise but the execution left things to be desired. I also think it’s mostly predictive programming courtesy of our overlords.
I want to watch the new season of True Detective. Consistently hearing it’s the best since S1.
'Banshee' was AWESOME.The first show of TD was pretty good . I'll watch the 2nd one tonight . We are also watching Banshee.......I'm glad I stayed with it . We are on episode 5 ......and he has been a busy guy after hours LOL....he certainly has a type ! Lots of action in it .
Uhhhhh....you're not his target audience.I can assure you that this 50-yo doesn’t care about his tattoos (I have none), nor his love life, nor his trips to rehab (though re. the last one I some compassion for this aspect of his life as well as some others). Good luck, every contestant on that show has autism. I spend way too much time watching it.Any shark tank fans here? Just sent in my audition tape, fingers crossed
Jenn Lawrence -- i'll definitely pass..Watched No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence. Please watch it.
Movie was actually pretty funny. Plus that beach scene..Watched No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence. Please watch it.
I enjoyed it as well.Movie was actually pretty funny. Plus that beach scene..
I liked it and the Bob Segar song at the end was fitting. Reminded me of some 1980s light movies.The beach scene was bonkers. But I think J-Law is a good actor with a good range from raunchy to serious and I like most of the movies that she's in.
Watched No Hard Feelings with Jennifer Lawrence. Please watch it.
