Who's up for a coked up bear?

@Lion Hound did you finish Physical 100?

Now I've heard it all.

It's weird as can be but i'm enjoying it. The dubbed over comments are very funny. There no way that is what they are saying. In fact, i think I recognize the voiceovers. They sound exactly like the ones from the show Wipeout. It's like almost the same lines over and over again.

"You have a very nice physique. I would like to go up against you"
"Wow, she has an amazing body, i bet she can tackle some of the men"
"Wow, he looks like a Tiger hunting his prey. I wouldn't want to go up against that Physique:"
I honestly do not understand the obsession with reality shows.

“Jin Yeung, we all looked to. This is the event for his physique.”
“Jin Yeung this is the event for you we said”

Punishment of Atlas and the Punishment of Sysphilus were awesome!

Finished it tonight.
Hahaha

Master: We wanted to study which physique was the most perfect...

...Then the luge guy with the Phil Kessel body finishes in the top 5 lol

But yeah, those last rounds were bonkers. Those physical challenges looked like pure hell.

Anybody watched or watching the Willow series on Disney+, really good stuff. Into the 4th episode now, and really brings you down memory lane from the original movie.

After the last episode, I think things are really headed off the rails!!!
The first season of the Mayor of Kingstown was really good. The second season has been pretty bad. Absolutely nothing happening. It's as if the writers didn't know what to do after the show was handed to them for s2.

Other shows:

I loved Physical 100. Such great sportsmanship by those athletes. I was surprised how invested I was for these people that I had never heard of outside of Nippert.

I'm loving The Consultant on Amazon. Maybe not for everyone. Some Severance vibes. Christoph Waltz is a lot of fun on this show.

I'm enjoying the second season of Mayor....probably more so because it's unlikely that Renner will return and I thought it was a good role for him. I do agree about plot line. And Dianne Wiest deserves so much better than this.

I tune in every Sunday morning for a new episode, but nothing ever seems to progress: with Milo, Iris, Bunny, the bonds, etc. It feels like one season-long stall until perhaps some movement in the upcoming finale.

It's frustrating how things just kind of hang episode after episode. Plus every episode keeps getting shorter. It's an hour show that has become a half hour show. I think there is only 1 episode left and like you said, it may be over now for Renner and perhaps the show. It's a great cast, but feels like they don't know what to do with them.

I have to wonder if there was more planned but the filming was stopped due to Renner's accident. A lot of what's happened could have been told in 2-3 episodes. It's possible they "stretched" it out hoping Renner would be back to finish.

Funny -- I hadn't realized this until you mentioned it.....I was in the middle of the last episode when I responded to you earlier and I had checked to see how much I had remaining (looked at the bar in my video player) and was surprised I was almost done. After reading your post I went back and checked: the episode was only 34 minutes long. That convinces me that they have a limited amount of film to air.

Lmao. I'm listening to the Korean audio and relying on subtitles, but yes the translations are often hilarious. Episodes 5 and 6 dropped today, FYI.
You’re so cool!

Loved the show and the culture/sportsmanship. They go to battle against each other then hug and bow and tell each how cool they are or how great their physique is. If this was an American competition there would have been a bunch of felonies after guys got eliminated.

Was shocked at who won the whole thing.

My wife and I made the same observation. The sportsmanship was so refreshing. It was just a tremendous show of respect for each other. I was also surprised by the finalists. None of the competitors I expected to go to the finals made it. That really pumped-up dude, who I dub the Korean Dwyane Rock Johnson, failed the Punishment of Atlas so fast I was damn shocked.

First glance I thought he was thrown off when the girl failed to hoist up the Atlas stone and almost crashed into him.
I thought the one who came in second in the Punishment of Sisyphus was going to win.

Yeah, that girl was kind of distracting, although I think he wasn't good in the stamina department.

That guy in Sisyphus, yeah he should have at least made the final four. Seemed he had a good balance across strength, endurance, agility, etc. Those box jumps he did when they were goofing around were incredible. But the guy who won Sisyphus, his legs were on another level.

love it. zombie show without endless zombie chases that get boring pretty quickly. cinematography is top notch.
I've always been a huge horror fan, but for some reason I can't stand zombie stuff. However, as you mentioned, this show is far apart from the usual fare.
