Give it a go. Alan Ritchson (Reacher) is a charismatic beast.

Just watched A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II - pleasantly surprised after not expecting much. They were really both pretty good.
The fact that it had minimal dialogue and most of it was through emoting makes it more appreciable (first one especially).

----------

I blazed through the 3 seasons (so far) of Emily In Paris and im not ashamed of it.

Watching Ep 1 now. I liked Ritchson in Titans....
He can also play cerebral for a big man. I don't know much about the Reacher universe, but I enjoyed him playing the character. In fact, I've never seen the Cruise movies.

That's what I couldn't remember.....I knew there was something familiar about the title....I did see the movies -- thought they were excellent.

I also like the actor who plays the "nerdy" character....he was excellent on Dark Matter.

Finished Reacher series. It was very entertaining.

Banshees of Inisherin is a must watch imo. So sharply funny, and amazing performances by Farrell, Gleeson and Keoghan.

That's disappointing....now I have to change my New Year's weekend watching.
Decided to still give Jack Ryan s3 a go and with one episode left I gotta say that with lower expectations it wasn’t bad. Ryan is definitely entering 007 territory but this transformation was happening in the books too so around s3 it’s kind of expected.

What’s also interesting is interplay with the current real Russian “affairs” in Ukraine and some on point insights into Russian mentality when it comes to valuing personal live or its quality vs glory of the nation, no matter the costs.

I was watching a Woody Allen film and Keaton's character made a negative comment about masturbation. Woody's character replied "Hey! Don't talk about it that way. It's sex with someone I love".

Freaks and Geeks could have been like, top-10 all time.. Shame it only lasted a single season.

Firefly / Serenity - man, what could have been.

Speaking of old(er) Sci FI: I put Battlestar Galactica (2003) up against any sci fi on TV ever.
I liked the original with Lorne Greene. Didn't care for the others.

Is it bad that I enjoy watching the original "Charmed" series.....yeah, witches and stuff....but its quite nice visually.

My wife and I are on episode 160 of 170 of The Vampire Diaries. Good looking cast all around, and I’m a sucker for vampires and witches and shit. We’ll probably end up watching the spin-off Originals.

We’re also about to start the final season of Servant on Apple TV which has been supremely good so far. And then we’ll start The Last of Us.

Job and Sugar were a pair for the ages.
Funny hardly anyone has seen the show and yet everyone I get to watch it, loves it.

I still remember watching the first episode 10 years ago, and thinking this is good and then episode 3 was freaking awesome, and it got crazier/better after that.

I know you guys have mentioned some well regarded one and done tv shows like Freaks and Geeks and Firefly. I have seen Firefly and loved it.

Anyway, check out Terriers, it may be the best of the one and done bunch. It really was fantastic.
