Only reason i ever listened to the station was the Montreal forum with Tony and even that at times with all the soccer talk was a bit much.I was out of town one afternoon and turned 690 on and it was a boring snooze fest.They weren't even talking sports.I turned to another station

AND now they are more proud they play music... i left it this am

Same here. There are times I find him annoying, but overall I like him and he's entertaining.

I feel the same way about JiC. At times I'm annoyed by him, but I find him entertaining most of the time.

I listen in the mornings and I have to say whoever is on at 7-8am ish are terrible, I think one guy has a partime gig as a real estate agent of something Simon Celikas (sp?) anyways those clowns don't even know what they are talking about half the time...they miss the mark almost all the time..Some of their guests are fine but yikes..

I find him more polished, level headed, analytical and grounded than others on that station. He also had good guests during his shows. He seems to be well respected and likely much harder to say no to than others at that station with their own shows. And yes...a great voice.

I'd much rather listen to him any day of the week than an egomaniac drama queen like Tony.

He and Melnyk have a voice for radio,most of the other don't imo.They sound and perform more maturely as the others seem to cater to friends and the new breed of today.

Yup I always enjoy his segments when he's on TSN690. I heard him on TSN1050's Leafs Lunch a little while ago as well. Great story teller.

They are lucky they own the bcast rights to all the sports franchises in town, Habs in particular. I'm sure that's the main reason they survive. The lack of hosts is likely cost driven and driven by what's needed for their survival.

It's been reported that it will be JiC. Nothing has been confirmed. But JiC has been reported to get the morning show at 91.9 Sports and also continue doing his evening show on TVA Sports.

Gilbert Delorme will most likely return to his old time slot which was, I believe mid-day. I think it was 10 to noon. There was no word on what LP would do. That is until earlier this week, he announced that his last show is next Thursday. And now we know he's headed to 98.5.

I was never a fan of LP but did enjoy listening to Delorme in the mornings. Sucks that Gonzo is gone, he was my favorite. Hopefully the rumors are true regarding JIC, Although I disagree with most of his views, at least he’s entertaining.

TSN 690 has become unbearable, Mitch Gallo is horrible I rather listen to the Pacioretty Presti commercial.

The only two guys that were interesting were Nilan and Marinaro.

I grew to like Melnyk also.

I might be in minority , but listening to Andy and especially eric macramalla is way way more rewarding then that shouting tony and his no iq guests like Norman

yeah i just checked out Marinaro's sick podcast. It seems when he gets in front of the camera it becomes all about self promotion, not just genuinely discussing content.

I hope he's not making a mistake with this podcast and French Language radio over his bread and butter at 690. Perhaps both parties will fail and they'll let bygones be bygones and reunite at some point in the future. After all Adie Bennett is back at 690.
